I am going to start a tournament to let different team fans to compete with each other. I cannot tell which team's fans are the worst now, but I will let you who got the worst fantasy owner

Browns come out and say they would trade up for Manziel. Oops
ffgiant replied to tanatastic's topic in FFToday Board
It all depends on their QB evaluations. If there is one franchise QB available, go get him by all means. But if they were wrong, it will set their team back for another 5 years. -
He could be safely dropped in all dynasty leagues. Just checked my league, he is not even rostered before the news.

Potential NFL Scoring Change Could Rock Fantasy Football
ffgiant replied to nobody's topic in FFToday Board
Kicker is just kicker. I am thinking of make it optional or eliminate all together. But the fantasy points for TD might be a little tricky. Maybe fantasy scoring system will have to adjust as well, TD can get be either 6 or 7 points, because you will also need award the 2 points for a successful conversion. -
I am a little puzzled by the hire. Vikings being a dorm team and lack of QB talents, I thought they would prefer a offensive minded coach. No matter how strong your defense is, if they stayed on the fields too long, they will be exposed. Being a Packers fan, I have no problem that Viking goes defensive.

I don't think it is good hire for the Lions. But I am Packers fan, so I am happy about it. Caldwell seems too soft to me to clean up the mess in Detroit.

I will take Doug for next season. It is all about opportunities. Ball is a very good player, but I like Doug Martin's situations better.

Why the hell was SD playing conservative till the end of the game when it was too late ?
ffgiant replied to snatchit's topic in FFToday Board
Because they won last time with the same game play? Seriously I couldn't figure out why it took them till the end of the game to change to a more aggressive game plan. Maybe the injury of Denver's best CB had something to do with it. -
My take: SEA over NO, this is the game I am most confident DEN over SD SF over CAR, this is the game I am not sure. NE over INDY

You will be able to get T Richardson at least a round later in next season draft. From a value of point, you don't want to take him before Spiller. I am talking straightly from AVP, not their actual value. If you could foresee at last year draft time, you probably would have past both.
-
I traded him for peanuts after his rookie season. I probably would have won my league Championship if I still have him, unfortunately I had A. Rogers. Put fantasy aside, he is still among the better QBs in NFL. Unless Cincy can find a super star QB, they have no choice but to work with what they have in Dalton.

KC game was wild. I was rooting for the Chiefs, unfortunately for me, most of the people seems got it right.

The trade should not be vetoed. It was not a good trade dynasty wise, since the 2 running backs are OK players, but talent are not there. Why you care about the talent level? Because the 2 Rbs could easily lose their starting job in the middle of the season. They will get you OK production while they playing, but for how long?
-
Chris Johnson was killing my fantasy team the first part of the season, but he's been a stud for the 2nd part. Since Tennessee's going to let him walk after this season, it will depend on where he lands. But he is far from not to draft list.
-
I am not a big fan of this twist, one player only for each team. One of the draw of playoff challenge is to predict the winner of playoff team.
-
Agree with most. PK is just too inconsistent a position. I guess most people just got used to have a starting spot for it. I will try to start some leagues with no PK next year.
-
Maybe week 17 poses a bigger challenge for any fantasy team?
-
If I have to start one, I will take Knile Davis as well, Kansas will rest starters.
-
Martin probably will be worth more in a trade. I see both of them as buy low candidates.

1. SA 2. LT Drafted at 12th spot.

Dynasty League Draft with Valued Players
ffgiant replied to The Next Generation's topic in FFToday Board
You got to take the best values first. The following RB and WR look like great value to me. Maroney, Laurence NEP RB $36 Peterson, Adrian MIN RB $28 Johnson, Calvin DET WR $10 Walker, Javon DEN WR $8 -
Very good topic, I see TE's position start to look like QB position from fantasy drafting perspective, i. e. there are enough quality starter for everyone. It is also easy to fill in by waiver wire. This is a position you can definitely wait on during the draft.

He is healthy now, but he seems always get injured at FF playoff time. I got burned by him 2 years in a row.
