3 QBs I am REALLY worried about due to lack of WRs on the Roster.
ffgiant replied to MarshallHahn's topic in FFToday Board
Not too worried about Foles and Wilsons, Wilsons weapons should actually be better than last year, not need to predict injuries. Foles should have similar offensive number this year. Newton is a big question mark? He is drafted around top 10 QB right now. I probably will stay away from him, there are safer options. -
Not crazy at all. Not a good year to have top pick for fantasy draft, there are at least half a dozen guys you can argue for the 1st overall pick.
-
I just drafted him with my last pick. Hopefully the lottery pick pays off. I will be overjoyed. if I can get 8 games out of him this season.
-
It is hard to say the safest when it comes to football. But besides injury risk, you have to think he is the most consistent WR for the past few years.

This is a reasonable contract for both play and team. Typical Packers signing. This is why they are a perennial playoff team.

List a player per position that u think beats their ADP by 2-3 rounds
ffgiant replied to Hawkfin's topic in FFToday Board
It seems Rice is likely to out perform his current ADP, but from now to beginning of the season, his ADP is likely rise a lot. -
Unfortunately the difference between the 10th QB and 20th QB is not that big. Whether you guessed rt or wrong won't make much differences.

Knowshon Moreno is getting so burried, he's becoming a bargain again this year
ffgiant replied to vrabinec's topic in FFToday Board
Agree, Miami's running attack probably will be terrible again. Stay away. -
Do you do your own projections, or use someone else's?
ffgiant replied to vrabinec's topic in FFToday Board
I am not a big fan of any of those rankings. But I love to read their reasons behind the ranking, it is the best way to find out if you missed anything. -
You will more than that for #1 overall pick.
-
Do you handcuff your RB's? If so, why?
ffgiant replied to Upper Class Trash's topic in FFToday Board
I only draft handcuff when the handcuff can provide similar production given the opportunities, otherwise I'd rather to go some high upside guys. -
I don't feel he will be reliable contributor. Even one he got a WR2/3 production, you won't know which week to start him.
-
I usually don't bother with deeep sleepers. Most of my leagues have limited roster spot, even dynasty league, it will be hard to keep any super deep sleepers. They belong to the waiver wire.

How can we take fftoday seriously with Gronk rated in tier 3?
ffgiant replied to jaybny's topic in FFToday Board
I guess it is related his health concern. It is risky to to draft Gronk high, I am not too surprised with the ranking, which basically meant Gronk won't be on his team. -
I am with you. It is time to trade Andre Johnson. You don't want to be the last one hold the bag. As far as the value concerned, get what you can from your league, send offers to all league members to gauge their interest. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Keeper Question - Montee Ball as 5th Round Or J Charles 1st Round
ffgiant replied to mcarlton's topic in FFToday Board
There isn't a sure thing in FF. I will keep Ball for as 5th round. -
I won't take him as RB2. If you do take him as RB2, you might want to pair him with another capable RB to play RBBC instead for your RB2 position.
-
My thought as well. Lattimore probably will not be the RB a few years ago. Today's team doesn't have the luxury to pile up on RB positions. Hyde is probably to be drafted as the future RB.
-
I'll take it. Not a fan of McCoy. RBs are shuffling fast. You should take the young and upcoming RBs

For those who have been mocking: go WR-WR at the bottom of round 1?
ffgiant replied to BigMilk's topic in FFToday Board
But lots of fantasy owners are catching up. I have seen stud WRs going early. You should still be able to get serviceable RB in round 3 or 4. Of course each league is different from others, you might want to keep your mind open and draft BPA. -
I like Devonta Freeman as a sleeper RB this year. He is good at catching passes, there are plenty of opportunities for him.
-
I disagree. QB can be used a flex. Which changed the game a lot. He got take QB first.
-
Interesting. I thought it was just coach talk. Martin is more talented than the rest of RBs on the team. I still expect him to get 2/3 of all the carries, a safer RB2 pick?
-
OK, you convinced me. I am not superstitious. But if Andrew Luck is on Madden's cover, I will avoid him on all my drafts!
-
I am not worrying about RBBC at all. Andre Ellington is the undisputed starter. The only concern is that if his body can shoulder the workload. I twitted about him a couple of days ago. I was kind of surprised during the draft that Cardinals didn't even take a RB.
