2011, Dallas Mavericks start their playoff run... 1st Rd, Portland - I had us losing in 6.....2nd Rd, Lakers - I had Kobe sweeping us.....Conference Finals, OKC - had Durant/Westbrook beating us in 6.....NBA Finals, Miami - had Le Flop/D. Wade beating us in 6................. Somehow my Mavs weathered all the (and the odds) and won the title. This Rangers team is a mirror image of that Mavs team. Every series, I saw no way we could advance - yet we did. To think this team managed to get to here, with all the injuries and flat out SHIITY bullpen, is just mind blowing. No way in hell am I picking us now, no way am I changing anything up. Give me the D-Backs in 6!

Then you are prolly (also) late to the game how hateful Stros fans are to Rangers fans. This recent run has made HOU fans insufferable - they act like they invented the game.......... I was at Boomerjacks for Game 6, Stros fans were openly yelling 'Fk Tx!" during the game several times. When the cops showed up, they cooled it a bit.

I'm dumbfounded and speechless....... This is a Rangers team who lost 8 in a row during August, lost 13 games in September, went into SEA the last series of the year with a 2.5 game lead and lost the Division. Maybe it's like hockey, all you have to do is get into the dance.. My Rangers are hot, and it looks like Scherzer is going to go game 3 at home.. HOU has had our number for years - it's time to put an end to that shiit. But we have to have our starters go deep into games - if we have to get into our pen, we're sunk.

I do believe this Dallas team is talented and good...........but I've said before - until this Dallas team actually beats that SF team, I have to pick SF.

Big game today.... Do I think Dallas can beat SF, absolutely - there's a lot of talent on this team. That being said, do I think we will? No, not today. I've tried to find a place were my Cowboys are better than SF, can't find one. We have a spot or two where we maybe an equal, but not anywhere Dallas is superior..... I think SF runs it right at Micah, we'll see that and probably several counter runs called - I expect SF to bust a few big plays on the ground........ Then of course there's Deebo - the dude always eats us up. Our OL is still a huge problem and I think Dak is going to be pressured all day....................... Give me SF, 30-20.

Scherzer is trying to get back himself, but not expected. He has made incredible progress though, even thru live batting practice. Team officials are still saying it is unlikely he will pitch again this year.

Winning the Rays series has this town on full homer tilt. You should hear all the local sports talk hosts not only picking TEX, but possible sweep. I'm loving the playoff run like everyone else, but it's approaching midnight and Cinderella is about to turn into a pumpkin on this rotation. We're down to 2 legit starting pitchers, neither an ace. After that, it's a hodgepodge of who can throw today. I think we can win a game, maybe two - but I'd be shocked if the O's didn't win this series.

Great story for my Rangers to make the post season............but I still don't expect much. To lose not one, but 2 aces, coupled with a weak ass bullpen - the bats are too streaking to carry this team far.

Sometimes you just handed a good old fashion ass whoop'n - and that's what Dallas got. I'm not sure I've ever seen a less prepared, less inspired Cowboys team take the field. THis team was looking weeks into the schedule, thinking they could just show up and leave with a W. Hats off to the Cards, they kicked our asses on the field, from the booth, from the sidelines - you name it. Time to get back to work.

Last visited June 6 I just realized he’s not chimed in lately, very unusual for a football/Cowboys fan like him. Anyone know if anything happened to him?
