I didn't play feetsball at all in 2017. This year I have two fairly advanced 10 team IDP leagues. This is the first one. My lottery ticket is the TB offense. In the late going, I grabbed everyone that was left on the board. I still must take a DL and a K and another bench. Still, this is the bones of the team. How does it look? 10 team. QB: 1 for completion, -0.5 for Incomplete, 1/20, 6 for TD, -2 for Int, -3 for FL R/WR/TE: 1/10 rushing, 1/20 receiving or return, -3 for FL IDP: 1 per solo, 0.5 for assist, 2 for sack/FF/FR, 3 for Int, 4 for safety 1. (2) Le'Veon Bell (Pit - RB) 2. (19) Devonta Freeman (Atl - RB) 3. (22) Tyreek Hill (KC - WR) 4. (39) Drew Brees (NO - QB) 5. (42) Amari Cooper (Oak - WR) 6. (59) Royce Freeman (Den - RB) 7. (62) JuJu Smith-Schuster (Pit - WR) 8. (79) Lamar Miller (Hou - RB) 9. (82) Trey Burton (Chi - TE) 10. (99) Tevin Coleman (Atl - RB) 11. (102) Tyler Lockett (Sea - WR) 12. (119) Dak Prescott (Dal - QB) 13. (122) Telvin Smith (Jax - LB) 14. (139) Christian Kirksey (Cle - LB) 15. (142) Budda Baker (Ari - DB) 16. (159) Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix (GB - DB) 17. (162) OJ Howard (TB - TE) 18. (179) Peyton Barber (TB - RB) 19. (182) Jameis Winston (TB - QB)

Except it's 10 team.

Somebody? 1. (2) Le'Veon Bell (Pit - RB) 2. (19) Devonta Freeman (Atl - RB) 6. (59) Royce Freeman (Den - RB) 8. (79) Lamar Miller (Hou - RB) 10. (99) Tevin Coleman (Atl - RB) 18. (179) Peyton Barber (TB - RB) 3. (22) Tyreek Hill (KC - WR) 5. (42) Amari Cooper (Oak - WR) 7. (62) JuJu Smith-Schuster (Pit - WR) 11. (102) Tyler Lockett (Sea - WR) 20. (199) Josh Doctson (Was -WR) 9. (82) Trey Burton (Chi - TE) 17. (162) OJ Howard (TB - TE) 4. (39) Drew Brees (NO - QB) 12. (119) Dak Prescott (Dal - QB) 19. (182) Jameis Winston (TB - QB) 13. (219) Chris Boswell (Pit - K)

Looks good to me except TE. That's fixable. J
-
Zeke is a no-brainer. The Dallas offense will be a lot more ball control this year. J
-
Needs work. Kelce is the bomb, but it looks like you overpaid for him. Foreman is OK but get his handcuff, Tevin Coleman. Also, see if the other Foreman is available cheap. Your RB depth is weak. WR are weak. None of these guys is WR1. QB are weaker. Ouch. Chiefs D is good for generating turnovers, but bad for yardage. You have only two elite players and one is a TE. J
-
I take Royce 3rd in that group. I am not as high on Henry as the last two but he's a bit ahead. Collins is boring but the clear #1. All three RB before either WR. J
-
+1 With the suspension Carson > Ingram. I am not sure Ingram is ever back to where he was in 2017. J
-
Who is looking worth a lottery ticket and your last bench slot? Often these guys are handcuffs or rookies. Last year it was both because the guy to have was Spencer Ware's rookie handcuff. Hold your hand up if you drafted Kareem Hunt. Didn't think so, but the injury to Ware was a flag. Are there any flags yet this season? My contribution is Jameis Winston's three-game suspension. With the week five bye, he is out until mid-October, but he should be fully up to speed for game #6. Also, consider the other skill players. OJ Howard and Peyton Barber are not making top 100 lists, but they could take off if the offense gels. J

HELP-Keeper league ?-Keep K. Hunt or L. Bell?
onejayhawk replied to AldoRudy's topic in A Little Help!
I love Hunt, but Bell and it is not close. J -
Daniels and it is not close. Davis has been a top TE, but not lately. Mostly he blocks now. He's still very good at that, so he plays. Owen Daniels is replacing Julius Thomas in the Denver offense. He will not put up Thomas numbers, but he will be a consistent producer as P Manning's safety valve. BTW, is Ertz available. I would take him right after Daniels. J
-
I was thinking of a TE as a flex starter over a 5th tier WR, like White or Stills. Joique Bell for Spiller is still in the cards. Is it worth using a WW priority? J

I am used to 12 and 14 team leagues, as are many of my comanagers. We used a big roster to try and simulate a similar league, but it did not work out that way. Three of the top 5 picks were QB. I could have drafted Romo at #26. By my next pick at #39, 13 QB were gone. I took three of the last seven drafted. 2 QB league. Only 8 teams. 10 rushing/receiving yards per point 25 passing yards per point 6 pts/rushing/receiving TD 4 pts/passing TD -2 pts/fumble lost and INT 0.25 PPR Here is the roster, before moves. Ryan Tannehill Mia - QB Colin Kaepernick SF - QB Dez Bryant Dal - WR Emmanuel Sanders Den - WR Alshon Jeffery Chi - WR Golden Tate Det - WR C.J. Anderson Den - RB Giovani Bernard Cin - RB Delanie Walker Ten - TE Roddy White Atl - WR Andre Ellington Ari - RB Dan Bailey Dal - K Cincinnati Cin - DEF Le'Veon Bell Pit - RB Jay Cutler Chi - QB C.J. Spiller NO - RB One flex is W/T and one is W/R. Is a 3rd QB worth the roster space? What is Spiller's status? Joique Bell is on WW. The best WR is Kenny Stills, but Tyler Eifert and Owen Daniels are also available. Are any worth a waiver claim (I'm #2)? Are their any strategies for the short bench with a loaded WW (by my standards)? J

Alshon Jeffrey missed practice again... Choose 2
onejayhawk replied to joshvon1's topic in A Little Help!
I'd take Matthews, but it is closer than some think. Atlanta's defense will surprise people. The other is tough. I lean to Brandon Marshall. I do not like Royal against the Packer D. J -
Hyde as well. Ugly week for WR. VJax as one. The rest are close. I would take a second RB over any of them. I'll differ on defense. Here there are no bad choices, but take the Bengals against Oakland. J
-
No brainer here. Eifert is a nice player, but Bennett is top 5. J
-
The police are not saying he is not a suspect. Neither are they saying that he is. "Sit down and talk" sounds like more than a paternity test. That said, he may have knowledge of her associates and movements that local people might not give up. Note she is almost 10 years older. It's a pity. He looked like the 2nd or 3rd OL off the board. J
-
1.18 Danny Shelton, NT BPA. You know they love big guys early. I would have said La'el Collins, but he has issues all of the sudden. J
-
I've never been drunk enough to be hung over. That is unimaginable. J

What has the tournament committee got against Wichita State? Last year they had to play Kentucky in the second round. This year the team they defeated in conference has a better seed in an easier bracket. At least they may get to play Kansas for the first time in a generation. J
-
Valid point. OTOH the Chiefs has some of the worst pass protection in the league. Expect an upgrade this year, if only because they are paying attention to it. I'm not pretending this is an upgrade. It's not. He asked for one good thing. No other WR = bigger share of the pie, which is a good thing. J

separate the Edge Blockers from the Pretenders

Humpries is one of the true LT candidates. Is any of the ones above him? If it were not for the injury, Ogbuehi might top my list. A&M has become a LT factory. J -
Starting with Scherff, there seems to be an unusual number of top OT that are not considered LT prospects. Which of the top ten names a genuine blind side candidate? This is Scott Wright's list of OT and my off the cuff comment: 1 Brandon Scherff Iowa - RT 2 Andrus Peat Stanford - LT 3 La'el Collins LSU - OG Zack Martin 4 TJ Clemmings Pittsburgh - Swing 5 Ereck Flowers Miami (FL) - RT 6 DJ Humphries Florida - LT 7 Cedric Ogbuehi Texas A&M - LT Injury concern 8 Jake Fisher Oregon - RT ZBS 9 Ty Sambrailo Colorado St - LT character concern 10 Jeremiah Poutasi Utah - OG J
