They will be running Rice into the ground in this one I would guess.
-
I'm putting Stafford on the bench. With Burleson also out, who is Stafford throwing to? Seems like he'll be a bad play if you have a decent backup.
-
I traded for him right before the game and started him. He's not a player that you like starting for now or the long term, since we all expect Spiller to take over. But the Bills are running the ball a ton, and Spiller isn't holding up to the workload. It looks like there will be plenty of carries to go around.
Having Manuel out for a few weeks could hurt things, unless they find a replacement QB to keep D's honest. Tuel looked useless out there. If he's starting there will be 9 guys in the box every down.
-
Gordon's game is the deep ball, and Weeden's got the stronger arm. Weeden's problem is hanging onto the ball too long. I think Gordon will be fine.
-
I'm not sure if that sentance was written in English, but I take it from the title that it was about Jacquizz.
He'll be relegated to change of pace roll with Jackson. Jackson is a good receiver and won't be pulled on 3rd downs, so Quizz will only be in to give him a breather. And Quizz won't get any short yardage or goal-line work. Add in the O-line troubles in Atlanta, and Quizz doesn't have much upside, which is why everyone is dropping him.
-
I'm glad they finally did it. It was becoming a circus. Now both sides can move on.
I don't see why the Jags wouldn't give him a try. He can be signed cheap for one season. Even if they get Bridgewater next season it never hurts to have a veteran QB on the roster. Gabbert and Henne have both shown they're not even backup calibre QBs. And Freeman is still pretty young.
-
It sounds like Amendola and Dobson will probably be available this week (both are practicing, although limited). I'm guessing Collie will be a weekly inactive and was just signed in case of another injury.
-
Now TRich can go out and dominate at his usual 3 ypc.
-
Thanks for the tips. The other owner decided he wanted to keep him - he still thinks he's valuable. I'm probably better off looking elsewhere for a WR upgrade.
-
I need a 3rd WR. Is there any hope that Wallace improves? He's had one good game this year, and outside of that he's not better than the crap WRs I've been starting.
-
You'd think that Allen or V. Brown would put up decent numbers when Rivers is throwing for 400 yards, but it isn't happening. Floyd's been out for a while and it hasn't done anything for the WRs. The passing game seems to revolve around Gates and Woodhead. Maybe defences will start to take Gates away and that could open things up for the WRs, but it hasn't happened yet.
As a V. Brown owner, I'm pretty frustrated that he's finally healthy and on a good passing offence, but is still not putting up any numbers.

I really don't understand how having Fitz in their instead of Locker helps Britt out at all. Tenn is winning by playing defence and running the ball. I don't see them suddenly airing it out because the weak-armed backup QB is in there.
I own Britt and would love to see it happen, but I haven't seen anything from him in about 2 years that would make me optimistic about this week.

I can see why Cleveland was happy to trade him for a 1st round pick. Richardson just isn't that good. Whenever Bradshaw comes back, he'll get plenty of touches. Bradshaw looked great against the 49ers. He's motivated to land a good contract in the offseason, and when healthy he can be better than Richardson. The Colts want to win games - they'll go with the hot hand at RB, not whoever was drafted higher.
-
Powell is nothing special, but he's done enough to be the starter. I'm sure Goodson will get some touches, but I can't see him taking over as a lead back without injuries. The Jets have proven they can put out a decent running game, so if you have a deep bench he could be worth a stash. But I have a tough time imagining he'd ever be someone you could start with any confidence.
-
He probably just sucks. We kept giving him a pass because he showed promise his rookie year and his supporting cast was so awful. But now his supporting cast is better yet he still looks the same after regressing from his rookie year.
His offensive line is terrible and gave him no chance. Along with terrible play calling I don't put the blame on Bradford. He looks like he's trying but he had no time to find a receiver. All the weapons in the world don't matter when you're on your back a second after taking the snap.
-
That was some of the worst play calling I've seen. I thought after the brutal first half they would change things up in the 2nd. Nope. Same runs up the middle and slow developing pass plays.
Your O-line is brutal and your QB is getting hit allot. Why not try some screens/draws/quick slants to slow down the pass rush? Do something to give Bradford a chance. Bradford's not great, but he had no chance last night with that play calling. Running game not working - throw some screens to the RB to get things going.
How the OC still has a job after the last 2 weeks is beyond me. This is a talented offence with a terrible O-line. A good OC should be able to scheme around that.

Ridley owner

I'm hoping he's better this week. With Amendola out I'm probably starting Givens or Lance "Guess when I'll have a good game" Moore.
-
started redskins def
Started DeAngelo Hall
-
He looked great. He's getting all of the touches, even on 3rd down. Looked like a decent receiver. He'll be a solid starter for the rest of the season.
-
I think Patton is the guy who will emerge. He's got a tremendous opportunity to shine considering no one else has really stepped up. Looking forward to seeing him in a 'real' game. He definitely has an 'it' factor and Kaep and Harbaugh love him.
I know this is against the Chargers but they are still professionals on a first team defense.
That was a nice play. I've got him in 2 dynasty leagues.

Hmmm, maybe I should have started M. Ball with this weather.
-
I'm starting Lacy as my #2 RB. Its a dynasty league, and I'm in a rebuilding year. Only other options are M. Ball and Ingram. I'm hoping he falls forward for a TD to save my day.
-
I'd probably take Reece before I took Jennings. Reece put up some pretty nice numbers last year, and the Raiders will be behind every game this season. Reece can put up good garbage time numbers. Jennings may be listed as the backup, but he hasn't looked good at all.

I'm going with Bradford over Stafford. I may regret it, but I can see this being a multi-interception day for Stafford with the guys he'll have to throw to. Stafford will have to throw allot in a high-scoring game.
