  1. Yeah, teams will really fear Pryor at QB, opening up huge lanes for DMC to run through.

Reality check - Pryor will be throwing short and running for his life behind the worst line in NFL history. DMC will get hit in the backfield play after play.

When the Raiders are behind 40-0 by halftime in each game, they will be chucking the ball and ignoring the run game. Marcel Reece ends as the #1 fantasy back on the team.

  2. It's funny because it was only a year ago (or was it two?) where Nicks was being talked about as a top 10 WR, or better. The talent is still there, and if he somehow stayed healthy and played to his potential he could be a top 10 WR. But he's been hurt all preseason, and Randle seems to be doing well in his place. Nicks should be motivated, but he has to get off the trainer's table.

If he slides in the draft I can see taking a chance on him. If the stars align you could be getting a top WR. But I wouldn't draft him as a WR1.

  3. Besides the injury risk, he's running behind one of the worst O-lines in the league (that's been hit with injuries), and their starting QB can't throw the ball more than 25 yards. McFadden will be facing stacked boxes every week. Not to mention their bad defence which will have them playing catch-up by the 3rd quarter of every game.

Where exactly is the upside in all that?

  4. The hype for Cook comes from the speculation that he will fill Amendola's role as the possession/outlet receiver. Cook has speed and playmaking ability. If he can also get allot of receptions, he's got a pretty high ceiling.

You know what you're getting with Myers. If you're drafting a backup TE, I'd take the one with the higher upside.

  5. With Britt suspended, need a WR3 for this week. 12 team, non-PPR league.

    Best options are

    Collie @ CHI

    LaFell @ TB

    James Jones @ SF

All signs seem to be pointing that Collie will start opposite Wayne, and he put up good numbers with Manning (when healthy). LaFell is the 2nd option in CAR, but with Smith out he's been Newton's main target. James Jones is kind of a crap shoot with the way they spread it around.

  6. I have to agree. Since the first year I started using the Compiler, I've never missed a year. The price is nominal for the customization and abilities the spreadsheet gives me.

I even used the Compiler/Draft Buddy to beat Mike in a league last year, so it pretty much pays for itself.

  7. Weird, I have both Romo and Tebow too. I'm going with Romo. I think having a running game opens up things for the passing game. Both WR's are healthy, and that game should be a shoot-out.

Tebow could have a big game, but let's face it, he was pretty lucky to put up decent numbers last week. They all came in the last 5 minutes. I don't want to risk that happening again.

  8. Tough one. You can definitely afford to trade Stafford. I think Romo will be fine as a QB1 the rest of the way, and you need help at WR.

Stafford for Tebow and Desean Jackson? Philly has to turn it around eventually. And Tebow has nice upside.

  9. 12 team league, standard scoring, non-ppr

Currently I'm the top team in scoring and record, so I'm hesitant to make a change. The Adrian Peterson asked me if I'd be interested in swapping for Calvin Johnson. My starters:

    Forte

    Bradshaw

    Calvin

    Steve Johnson

    Eric Decker

I've thought of asking for Peterson/Dez Bryant/Mike Williams (TB) for Calvin/Bradshaw/Jacobs. While Peterson is a stud and would give me a great backfield, I'm not sure overall its an upgrade. I like Bryant's potential going forward, and if Williams rebounds it gives me a better WR3 than Decker.

    Thoughts?

  10. Where do you have him ranked this year for a dynasty league? And would you rank any of the rookie RB's this year ahead of him?

As a young RB on an explosive offence, he should be very good. On the other hand, he didn't look great last year and lost allot of carries to Tolbert.

  11. Almost everyone said he was done in the offseason, but owners failed to listen and dreamed of top 10 performances. We see this with RB's in their 30's all the time. I don't know why people don't catch on.

And do we really need a weekly thread about when LT is going to bounce back? We've had one every week since week 1.

  12. Over/under on Cutler INT's this week? I'm saying 3.

The Bears are not a good team. 8-8 probably. They don't get to play Cleveland every week.

I think the Cards come out pissed and light up the Bears. Remember the Bengals game? Yeah, that bad.

    Cards 45-17.
