Kinda same situation.. with Conner looking to be active I'm going to roll the dice with Cordarelle

I see your KHunt and raise you a Gurley...
Beer Me Please replied to xbishopx's topic in FFToday Board
My main team... drafted Gurley 2nd round, Hunt 3rd round. Could not bring myself to get rid of Hunt. HUGE points in quarterfinals. You mad bro? Kidding! I drafted Jordy in the first round. Where's that gotten me lately? Dude, fantasy football is made up so much of luck, skill, luck, and just plain gut instincts. -
Being an UGA fan, I knew Gurley was something special, and that's not me just being a homer. He was just naturally better than everyone around him... one of those that you can't wait to see what he does the next time he touches the ball. I still don't know exactly what happened with the Rams last year, but, Sean Mcvay appears to have changed the culture in LA in a very short amount of time. The Rams and Gurley are killing it!

I'm rolling with Brady... I certainly wish he had a better matchup, but, he didn't have the dreamiest matchup last week vs the Ravens and he did well. My backups are Bortles and Siemian so that helped in my decision making.

Def and Special Teams scoring allowed Atl Def at home against San Fran and Kaep or Buf Def at home against Cleveland and RGIII My season long defense is pretty bad so I'm going to pony up the extra $$ for a waiver for either Atl or Buf def My first thought is to take Buffalo but Atl plays a pretty bad team as well and scored 2 def/st TDs last week. Leave a link and I'll answer yours!

I'm going to agree with the crowd. I just don't see Farrow getting anywhere near Gordon's numbers. I see him as a low ceiling, moderate floor RB this week. See mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=462220

Standard scoring Walker vs Broncos or Brate vs Saints I have Brate in the lineup right now as I think this should be one of the higher scoring games and Denver has been stingy vs opposing TEs the last five weeks. Leave your link and I'll answer yours! Oh, and by the way, congrats on making your playoffs! I don't think you'd be here if you hadn't!

TE Opinion Request - D.Walker vs C.Brate
Beer Me Please replied to Beer Me Please's topic in A Little Help!
I've heard that Denver might put Talib on Walker so that makes me nervous. -
These RB's potential are very very close. Pros and cons for each. I was surprised to see both TB and NO defenses in top 10 vs opposing fantasy RBs the last 5 weeks. I think I'd go with Martin. see mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=461985

Hilton, Mathews, and DJax As long as he and Luck are healthy they make a great combo. I like the potential of Wash/Phi as a mini shootout. see mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=461985

I'd go with Wilson, although either is probably a good play. Green Bay has been pretty bad vs opposing passing games, but, they are in the playoff hunt. I see this as a nice QB duel between Wilson and Rodgers. As mentioned though, nothing wrong with Rivers as well. see mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=461985

Start 2 in PPR - Crowder, Mitchell, Moncrief, Landry
Beer Me Please replied to mookie86mets's topic in A Little Help!
Crowder and Moncrief Crowder for sure vs Philly def giving up the most fantasy points to WRs the last few weeks. see mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=461985 -
Crowder and Bryant I'm all in with Redskins WRs vs Philly Def this week. Philly has been really bad the last few weeks vs opposing WRs. I like Dez in a HUGE matchup with the Giants. NY has pretty good defense but Dez should still get his. see mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=461985

Martin and Boyd Doug Martin is the only one I start with any confidence. After that I guess I'd have to try and pick on the Browns' def with Boyd. I have a feeling Cincy will emphasize the ground game but the Browns are just really bad and Dalton will have to throw some at least. See mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=461985

Which 3 to start in ppr? inlcuding possibly picking up Lafell or Djax?
Beer Me Please replied to sosatyme72's topic in A Little Help!
I like DJax, Moncrief, and Steve Smith. I want to say LaFell vs Browns but I have a feeling Cincy will just pound the ball on the ground. See mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=461985 -
I concur... Matthews

FanDuel and DraftKings Agree to Merger
Beer Me Please replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
Tastes Great! Less filling! Tastes great! Less filling! lol I'm sure they will come up with a product that both sides will have to learn to like. I started out on FanDuel so that's where most of my entries are played. -
Oh wow, I remember the days when ALL league teams would call me on Sunday mornings with their lineups and usually shoot the bull. It would take like 2-3 ours to get all lineups collected!
-
I'm having some trouble building my lineups as well... only two games really limits your options. I do, however, want to get Herron in the lineup. Affordable at $7000 and 18 catches the last two weeks. Even if Colts playing from behind, Luck might be checking down to Herron more than he'd like to have to.

Matt Ryan (w/out Julio) or Mark Sanchez?
Beer Me Please replied to carleton222's topic in FFToday Board
I have the EXACT same decision I've been struggling with since I heard Julio is definately out today. Pains me to place my league championship hopes in the hands of Sanchez but that's what I'm doing. On a hunch. I love the matchup for Matty Ice but without Julio, Steelers can pay more attention to Roddy and Harry Douglas. Sanchez has all of his weapons and he's playing in Primetime SNF. -
Which RB! Jeremy Hill, Hillman, Ellington
Beer Me Please replied to kobe808lak's topic in A Little Help!
All three should be a decent play this week. I'd personally go with Hill and Ellington. Good luck! -
It's a new fantasy RB landscape these days... it will turn around eventually, but, the "everydown" back if very limited to a few players. If you drafted Megatron, Marshall, Cobb, and say Pierre Garcon or Keenan Allen as a fourth WR, having SJax and another RB would look pretty good!

These weekly fantasy games like on Fan Duel - How does it work?
Beer Me Please replied to KSB2424's topic in FFToday Board
Totally agree with giraldi02... there's a ton of fun to be had and it is a great complement to the standard fantasy leagues. There are some real sharks in FanDuel though, as well as the other popular daily sites, and I don't say that to discourage anyone from playing, but, just from experience, there are guys out there that REALLY know their stuff (Condia mentioned above). I also recommend the 50\50 leagues as they offer probably your best odds, but, you still better do your homework. After that, the smaller 3 or 5 team contests probably offer the better odds. The daily/weekly leagues are an awesome addition to the Fantasy Football experience but it's a whole new ballgame from the traditional annual draft leagues where you follow and manage a select group of players throughout the year. I highly recommend trying it out, but, just be wary and test the waters before diving right in. -
Hey all... anyone have any sleepers for Championship Sunday? The only thing I can come up with is my pick from last week, Vereen, which got overshadowed 200% by Blount. I don't see the Pats taking the same road two weeks in a row. Any thoughts?

What's the best team you've ever had? This year and all time.
Beer Me Please replied to Matt Mueller's topic in FFToday Board
Drafted Emmitt in first round and Favre in the third round in 1995... I can't remember anyone else on my team but those two had exceptional stats that year. Emmitt 25 TDs (maybe a record at the time) and Favre threw 38 TDs... not a record but VERY high production for that period.
