Well, I have them both projected at 12 Total TDs, with Lewis cranking out 1 more 100-yd game than Barlow, so if you are truly in a TD-only league and have input your scoring correctly in the Compiler, I'm not sure why Barlow would be ranked ahead of Lewis....

Since most drafts occur on the weekends the tentative plan is to have Projections and Depth Chart updates ready each Thursday during August and early September... 7/26 - Done 8/5 - Done 8/12 - Done 8/19 - Done 8/26 - Done 9/2 - Done 9/7 - Done That was the schedule we used last year and it seemed to work out pretty good. Obviously if major news breaks on a Friday or during the weekend, the appropriate changes will be made. Updating the Projections & Depth Chart data in the Compiler is simple... 1. Open up the Compiler 2. Go to the "Inputs" tab 3. Click the "Update Projections" button

Newsflash - I have caved under the pressure... we will do an update on 9/7 instead of 9/9....

We're scheduled to do another update on 9/2, then 9/9.... although we may push that 9/9 update to 9/8 or 9/7..... we'll see.

I don't think there is a way to get the drop down menu to select a player after just typing part of his name... Draft Buddy is just not setup to auto-complete names.... I'm sure MacGregor will correct me if I'm wrong....

Hi lump, Make sure the Compiler and Draft Buddy files are in the same folder on your computer. The default folder is... /Program Files/Cheatsheet Compiler/ Start on the setup tab in Draft Buddy. In the very first yellow box that indicates "Cheatsheet Compiler Filename:", input the full filename of the Compiler file you want to copy over the cheatsheets from. Note the filename must be EXACT (including the .xls on the end). If you're still getting the error, please let us know...

Hi Botlfan, There is a couple ways you could this, but I would make the Pass TDs for QBs, 6 Pts; then in the QB Distance Scoring Box, input 4 pts for all passing TDs in the 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, & 90-99 ranges. Make sense?

Hi lump, Buddy is capable of handling 40 Rounds. In Draft Buddy, check the "setup" tab and the row called... "Number of draft rounds (maximum 40): 18" Default is 18, what does your's say? With regard to your 2nd problem, are you sure the compiler and buddy files are in the same folder? After unzipping this file, your copy of the Cheatsheet Compiler and Draft Buddy (two .xls files) will be located on your hard drive in the directory: /Program Files/Cheatsheet Compiler/ The most important box to get correct is the "Import Cheatsheet Compiler Data" box. Please ensure the Draft Buddy file you are using is in the same directory on your computer as the Compiler file you want to pull the cheatsheets from. Make sure that Compiler file is set on the league profile you want to use and has the cheatsheets in the final form ready for your draft (click the Compile Cheatsheets button in the Compiler if appropriate). Then, make sure the filename for the Compiler is entered correctly so Draft Buddy can find the file.

The Compiler & Draft Buddy require Excel in order to run. I think a few people have had success with Open Office, but that's not an ideal solution. Any way you could get your hands on copy of Excel... legally of course.

If you are upgrading from Compiler 1.0, you can copy over your league profiles and prior settings into Compiler 2.0. Make sure your Compiler 1.0 and 2.0 files are in the same directory on your hard drive. The default installation should save them both in the directory /Program Files/Cheatsheet Compiler/ Open Compiler 2.0 and flip to the "update" tab. This is the first tab. Enter (or confirm) the name of your Compiler 1.0 file, which must be entered exactly as it is on the computer, including the .xls extension on the end. By default the filename is fftoday_compiler_2004_1.0.xls Click the "Copy League Profiles" button, and Compiler 2.0 will copy all league profiles and scoring stored in Compiler 1.0 to Compiler 2.0, overwriting the existing Compiler 2.0 profiles.

You're golden. Use the "Update Projections" feature in the Compiler maybe sometime late Saturday, as I will be making some minor depth chart changes.
