There's a player I want to draft right now (probably the same one as you), but I need more than just him. Go ahead and make the current pick if you want to make the trade, and then send me the offer when you get a chance and I'll accept.

Are you offering Merrill or Kim and 2.11 for a higher pick?

My team is pretty much done. I could be the first team in the history of our league to go from first to worst.
-
Exactly. I'm not on west coast time, so that makes it even more inconvenient. I'm not staying up until 1:30am to make a move in a free league with all you strangers.

Daily transactions suck on Yahoo. I'll never understand why we must wait until after midnight on the west coast to drop a player who played earlier that day. Can be tough sometimes when I'm working on the road in the middle of nowhere, often without cell coverage.

No sh!t . No one knew we were adding players here. Most of us dont even visit this board outside of the draft. I looked for Teheran, too, to add to my watch list. Wasn't there, so I just thought I'd have to wait until he was added to the database to address it.

Not sure how I feel about that. I drafted Chisholm at the AS break (2022 I believe). He went on the IL the day games resumed after the break never to return. I didn't get to pick up another player. I say he either keeps Cole, or we allow him to grab another player....but not both. Actually, I guess I am sure how I feel about that. lol

Damn, what a run on starting pitching! In middle of a short meeting. Will pick as soon as I get out of here.

Wouldnt bother me. But I'd wait and see what his results are first.

That, and his swing coach is a snake oil salesman.

That was my dilemma...passing on a top 3.

Thought about JRod or Tucker with S1.03, but they'd be "replacing" Ozuna. Figured I'd gain more going from Swanson to Turner than from Ozuna to JRod/Tucker.

I think last year (or the year prior) we all said we trusted you enough to not need the video. If you want to do a video, have at it. But I think we all trust you enough to do it without documentation.

I didn't want to bring this to anyone's attention in the first few rounds because I didn't want anyone noticing I was running low on front end players. But now that I'm mostly sorting through trash now, I feel safe to say something. 8 of the first 17 players chosen were "my" guys. I feel very fortunate that Charlie Morton and Chris Martin were still floating out there for me at the 3rd/4th round turn. Not that they'll be game changers for me, but if they'd been gone, I would have been forced to take Grissom and Heyward at 3 and 4 and that would have REALLY sucked!

Sorry guys. Had softball signups and all board members had to be there until it was over. Ran much longer than expected. I skimmed through last couple of rounds and didn't see these bums picked. Hope I didn't overlook anything. 7.12 Kirby Yates, RP, TEX 8.01 Pierce Johnson, RP, ATL

They aren't even sure if he'll miss more than part of the season yet.
