I may have misunderstood the question. It was addressed about 20 years ago with Raul Mondesi (the dad). I think the ruling was if a player was in an MLB team's system, they could be draft. But if they disnt make the roster, they had to be dropped. I'd have to do a search on it to see what the eventual ruling was, but I'm on my phone, old and outside in the sun so I can barely see my screen.🦯

I hadn't checked this in awhile, but Matzek is finally listed by Yahoo, so Tyler Stuart is no longer a placeholder for him. Matzek is an exclusive and is not currently on my roster. I still have Winans as a holder for Merrifield, and Ian Anderson for Nate Anderson. I dropped Ian Anderson and picked up Anderson Brito to use as a placeholder for Nate Anderson since Ian is not an exclusive to me (should have done this a long time ago.)
