just thought y'all wanted to know... looks like another great year for the best drafting tool out there...

guess it means more coming from the head cheese... or else you are just post padding...

did you "compile" the sheet after changing the allocation? it will work fine without all of the fields... you will find that most sites do not go into detail like fftoday does....

i have found that it is difficult to automatically get the info, so i copy/paste the projections from the site i want into the projection pal.. then just manipulate the fields and most of the time the data moves over great.. defensive teams are the hardest and i usually have to retype them.. i get projections from guru, draftsharks and in previous years the hated fbg's this way..

i know you love these... the drop down menu for the trade column says "owner #" instead of owner name.. any chance that can be changed so that it is easier to insure i enter the trade with the right team...

since i'm lazy with my early drafts i just go 80 fftoday/20 second half... as i get into it more and take more time i will use 33 fftoday/33 guru/33 fbg... then i toss out the guys that will never end up on a team of mine, like aaron brooks..

prolly just the boys at fft taking a gamble, but addai seems very hi on my pretty basic scoring system cheatsheet...

there is a box in the upper right i believe that is default checked.. it says to not update idp.. find that box and uncheck it.. O16 is the cell

i have mine using 3 sites..

a little further down, b69 area.. you have 3 custom options... basically, you could put 70% fftoday, 20% 2004, and 10% 2003 2nd half... or whatever combo you want... then you just change the pulldown to the one you changed...

Don't spend more than 2 seconds dealing with kicker projections (or kicker anything for that matter). I'd advise you to do the compiler recommended method anyway which doesn't even factor in kickers....... i agree.. just didn't want the guy to think i told him he could put all of his scoring exactly...

i just looked, fg missed distance is not something you can replicate exactly... but i haven't seen anyone projecting how many 30 yard fg's a kicker will miss... you do get a general fg miss category though.. you could put in -1 or -2 for a miss...

Thanks for the quick answer, zippy. Now, I'm admittedly a lazy B-stard! Is this thing easy to use (just plug in the numbers and hit "OK", or is there other work involved)? I'm looking for a program that's as low maintenance as possible -- one where I can plug in the info Thursday morning and be ready for my draft which starts promptly at 5 p.m.! if you like the projections from fftoday it is super easy.. enter in your scoring and hit the compile button.. if you want to add your own projections, well that is more work.. or if you want to take them from another site, it is a little effort but the projection pal has simplified that greatly...

compiler can handle that...

so you have the compiler with "league 1" and "league 2" each with different paramaters saved... so lets say you have league 1 open on the compiler and you open, set up and run the buddy.. it has sorted and is ready to use for league 1... now "save as" league1buddy.... now change the compiler to "league 2" parameters... open the original buddy, 1.1... set up for league 2 draft, and run the buddy... you now have the info for league 2, save as, league2buddy.. and you are all set for both leagues... buddy basically pulls the info from the "current" compiler set up...

right behind the compiler and buddy for best draft day tool evah... forget about trying to download them automatically, just cut and paste into the raw... defense is a little touchy, but no worries... AWESOME TOOL.... thanks..
