    ogletree or avery

Don't like either option. Ogletree is the fourth option in the passing game, and I think Avery comes down to Earth with Collie probably starting this week. I'd drop one of them and pick up Leonard Hankerson, who should be starting in place of Garcon this Sunday. Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=407955

    Pick 1 QB

Cutler. He'll be pissed after looking like crap on the national stage. I don't trust the other two guys to do anything. Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=407955

    D Brown or Mathews

Donald Brown hasn't caught a ball this year, so that does you no good in a PPR league. Matthews, if he does play, is 3-down back potential. If he plays, you play him. Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=407955

    Andre brown worth getting still?

Once Bradshaw comes back, he's strictly handcuff material. I see maybe 5 touches when Bradshaw is healthy. That said, looking at your lineup, I never carry 2 defenses. I'd drop Arizona and pick him up. Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=407955

    Brady or Flacco?

While I think Brady will just be average this week, I do think he will be better than Flacco. NE also has a decent defense this year. Baltimore's LBs are solid, but they can be beat in the secondary. I think it will be tough sledding for NE's running game. Go Brady.

    Romo vs Brady

Go Romo. Cowboys first home game of the season, and they're pissed after showing a poor performance in Seattle. Tampa's secondary stinks. Eli torched them for 500 yards! Baltimore always plays the Pats tough, no Hernandez, and they're looking to feature the run more. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=407955

    MORRIS or PETERSON

Easy call. You go ALF here. SF hasn't let anyone score against them. Cin has one of the crappiest run defenses in the league. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=407955

Dare I sit Fitz for D. Avery?

I think you're overthinking it. Fitz can be sat this week for quite a few receivers, but with the probably return of Collie this week, avery gets moved back to the slot. I don't think he sees nearly the targets. Bad situation, but I think Fitz would be the call. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=407955

Kudos to TRich on his first NFL TD

Of course he blows up this week...he's sitting on my bench.

Opinions on Packers Fake FG scoring?

It's an offensive play. It doesn't become a special teams play until the ball is kicked past the line of scrimmage. We don't use team TD's. If Rodgers didn't throw it, then he doesn't get credit for it.

#11 pick in 12 team leagues

I'm going to disagree with you considering it's a PPR league. It's not the strongest team I've ever put together, but I think it will be competitive. Opening week is looking like: QB: Cutler RB: Richardson RB: Smith WR: Welker WR: Harvin TE: Graham Flex: S. Smith (Carolina) K/Def: Whomever... I missed out on the QB runs, so I drafted around Rds 8/9 for my QBs. I do think that Cutler will have a decent year with Marshall back. Richardson is a 3-down back behind a good OL, and should catch 30-40 passes. Welker should be over 100 catches again this year. Harvin had more touches than any other WR last year. Graham is just a stud and should see 100 catches as well. I can roll with Smith as a flex. I'll have to play QB roulette this year, but last year I snuck Stafford in Rd 8, and this year there was no way I'd be able to get that kind of value again. RBs are waiver wire fodder. I won the league last year with Helu and Spiller in my lineup. If you don't get the top 3 or 4, then you're playing the WW all year long.

#11 pick in 12 team leagues

Drafted 11 of 12 in a long-running PPR league last night. Big three QBs were already off the board, as well as McFadden and Murray. Picked up Graham as I want my first pick to be a stud, and a clear advantage over anyone else. Drafted Welker at the Rd 2 turn. 200 receptions easy there between the two. Richardson fell to me at 3.11, and drafted Harvin at 4.02. I did have to scramble for RBs in the mid-rounds, but wound up with Kevin Smith/LeShoure, Ced Benson, and the Royster/Morris headache after I swore never to draft a Redskins RB again. I was last to draft QBs as I missed all the runs, and wound up with Cutler/RGIII.

What do you need on Monday night football?

Up by 23 in a PPR League. Have Julio left. He has Graham and Bryant.

    Kahlil Bell

I'm in the big game, and have the first waiver wire pick. I'm thinking about picking him up and playing him instead of Beanie in a PPR league. Cincy's run defense is actually pretty stout.

    Cowboys WRs.......?

Well, it looks like it didn't matter which one you started. One for each.

    Prize Pool Breakdown

12 x $150 = $1800 total 3 Division winners get $100 apiece. $25 for high score each week for 13 weeks. $825 to first place $350 to second.

    Felix Jones

I drafted him in the 4th round this year. He didn't do squat, and I couldn't get Murry. I dropped him a few weeks ago for CJ Spiller. The Murry owner picked him up a couple weeks ago as backup. Guess who I get to face this week.

    To all my SEMI-FINALISTS....

Stafford Helu, Beanie Welker, Fitz Hernandez Bailey Seachickens And I haven't decided on a Flex yet between CJ Spiller, Laurent Robinson, or Julio Jones.

How long until Romo is done in Dallas?

Finally somebody who talks some sense. Everybody loves to put every loss on Romo. Yes, he could have hit Austin to seal the deal, but that's not what lost the game. The Cowboy's craptacular defense and special teams play lost the game AGAIN. The defense couldn't hold a 12 point friggin lead with 5 minutes to go. They couldn't hold Tom Brady in the last minute of the Pats game. They couldn't hold Stafford in the last two minutes of the Detroit game. They had a defensive penalty on a 3rd and focking 22 in Arizona in OT. They let a screen pass go for a TD in OT. The special teams unit let JPP block the kick Sunday night. The special teams unit allowed a blocked punt in the Jets game. Romo's thrown for 3650 yards, 65% completion percent, 26 TD's and only 9 picks. He has over a 100 QB rating this year. He drove the team down with 56 seconds left, and no Time outs left to set up a 47 yard FG. Yet it's Romo's fault the Cowboys are losing. Does the OP even watch the games, or are you just someone who likes to jump on the wagon?

When did you draft your TE

    Aaron Hernandez, round 12.

    Fred Davis suspended 4 games

The dumb thing is that he failed a drug test after the lockout was lifted. It was during a "grace" period, so it didn't count. He was originally supposed to be out a full year due to multiple abuses for THIS failed test...but was negotiated down to 4 weeks. Really dude? You can't save it for the offseason?

So who will the Rat start next week?

Sigh...I have no choice. Run DMC is a vagina... PPR league and I need somebody opposite Beanie. It's Helu or Spiller.
  24. joeH

So who will the Rat start next week?

From Rotoworld: "Coach Mike Shanahan confirmed at his Monday press conference that Roy Helu is the Redskins' starting running back "for sure." "We felt he was ready," Shanahan said of Helu's big day against the Seahawks. "You could see some elusiveness, power, some speed. That's what you look for in a running back." --"We've all learned to take whatever Shanahan says with a massive grain of salt, but it appears he's finally ready to stop playing games with the Redskins season in the tank and only five games remaining. Helu is in for a number of difficult mathcups down the stretch, but could be an every-week RB2 as long as Shanahan keeps his word. Fellow rookie Evan Royster, and not Ryan Torain, appears to be second in line for carries."
  25. Does it really matter? Apparently you're such a prognosticator, you already know GB will be in the Super Bowl.
