Congratulations guys, the Hawks are now legitimately in the players club. I'm looking forward to the NFC battles between SF and the now total badass Seahawks team in the upcoming years.
-
The weddings in 2 weeks, Bridesmaid. Can't comprehend no rings and nut flexin is a toxic mix? I actually like Russell Wilson, but I don't think his chances are great, they just won their Superbowl. The NFC Champion Seahawks!!
Meanwhile, in SF, the trophy cases are full. I'll re-enter this conversation if anything becomes real.
Good luck though

If anyone can make Sherman look silly. It'll surely be Peyton, especially with a stud like DT out there. He's the big physical wr that can matchup well against that secondary.
But please don't think Sherman is all talk and nothing more. He'll study film just as much as Peyton will. That's the part that makes him so good. Especially in his own mind. He does the prep and he shows it. Then he likes to tell you about it. But he still does the work to make himself great.
Sherman is the real deal, it physically hurts that he assisted in ended the game. I'm not discrediting him, he's possibly the best. Rings should do the talking, and it's likely he won't be getting one
-
If I was a Seahawks fan, I'd hope someone puts a muzzle on Sherman quick. He's not nearly as graceful or decorated as Sanders yet talks like he is, and needs a serious slap to the face. Seriously.
Peyton's probably studying film right now, really, and is gonna pick his ass apart

Well, congrats guys. It'll be a good Superbowl none the less

I haven't visited this site in months. I'm here to post in this thread specifically, to provide the stealth 49er mojo.
Its interesting that there's 49 pages in this thread...

Redemption Song
Go Niners.

I'm not upset about my strategy to draft Calvin in the 1st and Jimmy in the 2nd of all my leagues this year. I'm destroying.

Wasn't Fleener Luck's go to target at Stanford? And now the Colts have the same offensive coordinator from Stanford. $#%! Wish I saw this news before last night when I was placing my WW bids.
Some of the reasons I was so high on Luck this year. Unfortunatley he can't crack my line-ups for the meantime cause Vick is holding down that spot for my teams.
-
Eagles use their timeouts to let San Diego try to gain yardage for their FG, lol.
WTF happened there. Chip Kelly had too many donuts this morning.
-
Perhaps overtime? More fantasy points for Vick? Get your paintbrush ready

I thought today would be a fitting spot to plug in Vincent Brown. Eddie Royal decides he should have been the first WR off the board. Fock you Eddie Royal.
No really, fock you Eddie.

Happy trees?

Now he's being used as the upside #3 we all hoped for

I just did a trade and i got Marshall, my other WR are Andre Johnson, and Boldin is my flex, with hartline on my bench(which i got in the marshall trade) im trying to dominate with Marshall and CJ on the same team. And i can dump off BGE lol
Wow. Try for Calvin (assuming you have another serviceable flex player). That's an exciting thought to have Calvin, Brandon and Andre.

When was the last time he played in an offense or behind an offense line where he wasn't getting whacked every other time he dropped back? It seems like, with the Eagles at least, his injuries have resulted more from getting creamed in the pocket rather than from running around.
With Vick, I'm way more concerned about the blind side stuff and the late hits that guys seem to get away with against him rather than the hits he takes from scrambling or blocking where he can at least get low and protect himself.
True. Another interesting perspective, is that Vick actually seems happy and appreciative to be in the situation he is in. His attitude has been greater than I've ever seen. I'd like to think that will carry over to great decision making and success. Chip Kelly needs to have him watch film on Kaep, and explain to him "Youre this important to our success, play smart and the sky's the limit". Vick is 1 season removed from being a 2-4th round draft pick in some formats, hopefully he'll recognize how money he is healthy and the great situation that lies in front of him.

Hartline is proving to be a real unappreciated stud. On the other hand, Calvin can outperform both guys stat lines combined on any given week. It's boneriffic to have Calvin in your line up every week, but Hartline and Boldin are in position to operate as two number ones. If you're deep at WR and need to eliminate having to choose weekly, go for it. Otherwise, you're lookin tuff in my opinionThere is a guyin my league in dire straits with his team, he has calvin johnson, would this be to much to offer for CJ
Boldin, Hartline, and BGE?
I dont want BGE on my team and basically just throwing him in there..
thoughts on this? Is it too much?
-
I think they're both going to get stats that are nearly identical.
Is it possible that you're thinking this as a GB homer? Cause the math is simple, in favor of Cameron
-
I told my brother while drafting, during round 9, "take Boldin now and you got the steal of the draft". Then a few picks later DeSean Jackson went and my drunk ass thought fock....WRs are deep this year. If Boldin and DeSean were any teams 2 and 3.....just....late rounds....winning.....wtf.
-Deep thoughts with Jack Handy

Cameron. Finley has 3 other healthy mouths being fed. If Cameron didn't carry over his Pre-Season success into week 1, it'd be another story, but he did.
-
I wouldn't give you Graham for Finley and any of those RB's you have, unless my RB's were so depleted I had no choice. So the answer is yes, get Jimmy Graham.

I love the Riverboat aggressiveness, separates the men from the boys. I'm going Vick until the tempo slows or his legs fall off. If I had Bree's though, I'd probably go Brees. I'm not sure any player has a more steady week-to-week upside.
Go get em Vick!

Holy crap. I love the Kaepernick support in here but this needs to be said:
Seattle is the toughest road venue in the NFL
Seattle has the best defense in the NFL
--->This is a divisional, playoff type game featuring the 2 best teams/Defenses in the NFL, in what will be a playoff type atmosphere, during Prime-time. <---This is important
Can you really see any QB going into the above situation and having a big game? This should be a smash-em-up physical game (think Balt vs. Pit of years recent), nothing about the situation says shoot-out. Remember last year Green Bay losing on that terrible call? Well Aaron Rodgers who was expected to be the second coming of Jesus Christ last year did nothing noteworthy in that game...and this is an even bigger game for Seattle. I think the Niners can leave with a hard fought win, but it won't be because they lit up the scoreboard.
Now Eli's situation:
Manning bowl
In New York
3 (check it) 3 WRs who got 100 yards just a week ago
A game that might resemble pinball machine scoring. Neither team has a solid running game at the moment, it should be aerial.
Also, "The 12th man" is planning to set a Guiness record Sunday night for noise. Based on those scenarios, if Kaep out scores Eli, then he's the best QB ever, fock it.
Go Niners

I don't want to insult anyone in this thread, but my point rings true always. Sherman left injured. If you don't believe karma is real, find a tall building and leap.
Put a muzzle on your boy, lol.
