  1. Well, looks like Philly and I agree about the line. Its now -6 -115 at Sportsbook.com. Perhaps they had the line a bit low to begin with and its adjusting correctly as we inch toward tonights game, dunno. I am leaning towards wagering as opposed to not now because of this.

    So Miss -6 1 Benji

    Good luck!!

  2. Dont wanna leave ya hangin G-men, but dont have much to share other than I would think So Miss would really lay it to CF, better program, better team. What bugs me is the line is -5 and I figure it to be at least 7-8. I guess home game on national TV factor maybe helping to come up with that line. I hate road favorites at 6.5 or less, too often the home team covers or wins outright so you may have something here. I absolutely wont touch this until halftime, and something will have to jump out for me to make a play!!!

    Good luck bro

  3. How would I feel? Well if I was drafted by a team in the NFL I would probably feel great and tell my family not only am I going to be a pro frootball player, I'm going to have a career that will put me in the Hall Of Fame. After two years at Atlanta I would be wondering if I'll be in the league another year. Vick is a WR killer, he can destroy your dreams, hopes and your career. I feel sorry for Atlanta's receivers they know the only way they will get to the Hall Of Fame is like us buy a ticket. As for the few of you who say they should give a 100% have you ever played ball? Yes I believe in giving a 100% if I'm playing football but if I'm just running wind sprints every play I would get tired of it and just go through the motions. Let me as you this we're playing a pick up game and your on my team and I tell you to go deep every play, while I run the ball or drop off a little pass to my buddy, are you still going to run full speed down field to get open only to turn around and find I ran for 6 yards? I don't think so. I for one would want out of Atlanta and when my contract would be up I would go anywhere and gladly take less money so I could play for a team that would appreciate my talents. Why I don't like Vick? He can't throw and only thinks of himself first. He doesn't want to stay in the pocket because that would mean he would have to look for a receiver to throw a TD to and the receiver would celebrate in the endzone and not himself. So that is why he runs first and when he can't get anywhere he just throws the ball anywhere and blames the receiver for not being opened. Did you ever think that sometimes when it looks like the receivers aren't open that they looked back and see Vick trying to run so they get close to the defender to block? If you can defend Vick than you are not a team player and someone I would never want to associate with. I don't like selfish people who only think of themselves first. That's it, good night.

Point of the post exactly...figured people would just be able to read between the lines

  4. Tonights play:

Atlanta is definately the better team here and the public is jumping all over ATL tonight, cant say I blame em, the line is now -4 -120. My gut says stay away at least until halftime when you might be able to get a better line with whichever side you like. But......

NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS!!! (says Coach "cant pick one" Corso)

I think both teams will move the ball, if ATL dosent convert drives to touchdowns they rely on a dinosaur in his first week back to make the field goals, as money as Morten was maybe he still can kick a 45-50 yarder, dunno. Factoring in emotion at the Superdome, im sure NO really wants to deliver for their fans tonight and will play extremely inspired. I also expect to be on the right side of whatever poor, charity officiating calls there might be tonight because of emotional factor. And now the man gives me +4 even money at home.

I definately understand the ATL pick, but tonight I go the other way. NO+4 Even 2 Benjis

Good luck!! :argue: <-----This guy is the man

Crystal ball was clear as hell tonight, might as well have watched the game first then come back to post this! Absolutely hammered John. Q Bookmaker this weekend, looking forward to College ball.

See ya'll in the "Official college wagering thread"

    Best of luck!!! :shocking:

  5. You run your routes and bust your @ss, only to get an accurate pass thrown your way once every other leap year (Unless your Crump). At some point its just like "the hell with it!" Then Vick takes off running and gets labeled "the man" for his playmaking abilitys.

I would have LOVED to see TO come to ATL!!!!! :argue:

  6. an inciteful detail to remember: we often forget the old adage "all things being equal". usually, in life and fantasy, they are not; thus, we have complicated debate.

if all the top10 guys (moss, TO, harrison, holt, johnson, ssmith, fitz, boldin, ward, chambers, wayne, burress) faced man coverage (ie bailey, mcalister, law) for 20 plays, double coverage with a safety over the top (ie reed, taylor, williams, dawkins, polamalu) for 20 plays, and even triple coverage for 20 plays, i would venture to guess moss would have more grabs than ANY of the others HANDS DOWN.

I took Moss into consideration but left him out only because he WILL NOT make a play down the middle!! (Im picturing Ed Reed and Ray Lewis playing there) They can run him out of bounds all day and he will go back to the huddle with his head down :D

  7. You apparently don't watch him play. :P

Exactly correct, you have NO idea what your talking about. Hence the word "BAD" Boldin plays like a Tight End at the WR position. He straight pops people and then gains extra yardage, most WR's make the catch, then slide, get out of bounds, or at least try and avoid contact (excluding Hines Ward)

Fitz catches the TD's, Boldin gets his as well, but is just a bad, bad man.

Dont ever underestimate the BADDEST WR in the NFL!! :ninja:

P.S. Fitz is like Ali, Boldin is like Tyson....get it?

  9. Leinart is NFL ready with his 4 years in a championship environment at USC, could the Cardinals offense be worse with him in there? I think it would actually be improved because he is not known to make alot of mistakes.

Extremely accurate. There will always be some exceptions for certian players and Leinart is one of them. IF he had weak surrounding cast in AZ he may be in some trouble, but I will say with confidence that when he fills in, he will be productive. He will not do any worse than ANY NFL QB that had that weak ass offensive line, but the playmaker positions will help him do good for obvious reasons, and the fact he limits mistakes will help. I think alot of people dont really know how good this guy is. Save the "but he had Reggie Bush at USC and played in the PAC 10 rebuttal" Leinart has more football smarts than many starting NFL quarterbacks period!! His ablilty to make adjustments and throw accurate passes will be Brady like (Discount Bradys performance tonight) once he gets his chance. He will face good D's in the NFL and when he does, people will says "he sucks!!" Thats bound to happen (i.e. see Brady tonight) bottom line, it may actually improve the AZ offense. I have Warner on 2 teams behind McNabb and hope he hangs in there, but I obviously got a bit excited because of the weapons at his disposal.

Besides that, I saw a SI shoot with him and Jessica Simpsons x-husband, Simpsons husband was wearing Leinarts USC jersey for the shoot.......f@gs
