  1. My opinion would be to drop Lord Gado. If Ahman doesnt stay upright (because of the weak o-line) probably not much production from that position since they will most likely be playing from behind and throwing the ball anyway. Gore, Taylor and Maroney as your weak links are good enough unless you are hoping for Gado to come thru big for trade bait, otherwise arem yourself with solid back-up QB adn your extremely well rounded! :dunno:

May the shwartz be with you

    Felizzle Navidizzle!!!

  3. Don't take this the wrong way but, I think that is a suckers bet. Quite frankly, I don't like the looks of any games this week. First week jitters?? Perhaps.

If I had to bet I'd take the Saints and the 3.

True dat. The first week is always difficult cause we have to see whos in mid-season form (if any) and if teams with new personnel/players have grasped the scheme concepts yet.

Having said that, the only play that looks really solid (although I HATE road favorites) to me is Seattle. They should absolutely dismantle the Lions as they appear to be in mid-season form (still hate judging off pre-season though). I am betting also that the offense for the Lions havent had quite enough time to execute the mad scientists offensive playbook to perfection. We shall see!!

    Good luck guys!

  4. New-Guru, thanks for the weather tip. I agree with Hirricane that unders in college are scary in the 30s because of clock stoppage and all, but this should in no way go over especially with weather on your side. Anytingh can happen with these 2 powerhouses, but im goin under baby!

EASY winner..... 5-1-0 on the weekend!!! (2nd half Kentucky +14 push)

  5. Spakler, thanks for sharing fella, I noticed it was your first post. Understand that the people here are beyond knowledgeable so it requires diggin much deeper than that. Just a heads up.

That aside, welcome to the world of statistical geeks! :bandana:

  6. Listening to the heard this morning and he said there is now a 85% chance of bad thunderstorms for tonights game.

I am taking miami and the under

  7.

It shouldn't really matter anyhow. Your team probably wont go undefeated, so what if I happen to be a pushover week 6. That makes me stronger than my opponent most weeks from 2-5 and 7-9.

In one league, I have Peyton, Driver, Addai/Rhodes & Jax D on a week 6 bye. Draft the best players available and take one week on the chin.

    Abso-frickin-lutely

  8. Stoked off one league, have option to start 1 back and 3 receivers. SA is my back and I got Holt in the 2nd, Chambers in the 3rd, and Donnie Drizzle slid to the 5th! No one can touch the WR combo.

Another league, I have a strong feeling about LJ Smith this year but I took him in the 6th :ninja: I know I could have waited a few more rounds to get him!

  9. I'll roll the dice with Deuce. He is getting zero love and is slipping to round 8 and even later in some drafts. Back ups like MBIII, Maroney, etc are going before him! He is still the featured back and should have decent numbers.

  10. Holy Cow!!!!

16 and 33 is a mirror of how I drafted as well!

    1.03 SA

    2.08 Holt

    3.03 Chambers

    4.08 Driver

    5.03 Addai

We are in round 6 now, we have the option to start QB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE which is why I took those 3 when they were available because they seemed to be the best "value" of where I drafted them. Addai - straight wildcard, I decided to roll the dice with the forecast of the Krug! If he sux, I just go RB/WR/WR/WR

You by any chance targeting Watson as your next pick? (With Gates, Heap, Gonzo already taken)

  11. Im flat out torn, I've got Edge (1.4) and B West (2.7)

Im on the clock at 3.4, Boldin and Moss are still there so my question is this:

Take Randy to avoid the bye-week blues or just flat out take the better player in Boldin. What sucks is AZ and Philly both have byes week 9, so if I go with Boldin, I lose all these guys for that week!!! :wall:

    HELP!
