I watched the hit a few times. I think that Harrison saw an opportunity to light up a puny QB and get on the highlight reels, and took it. Even though it was a half second too late. Paired with the fact he's been labeled a head hunter (for good reason) the NFL is going to, and should, come down HARD on Harrison.

I agree with most of the posters. Watch? Prolly not. Read about with obvious approval? Absolutely.

This has needed to happen for some time now. The Astros will suck just as bad in the AL, but at least the divisions will all have the same amount of teams finally. Daily interleague match ups will be unusual, but I enjoy interleague and can't understand why anyone would hate it anyways. But I also like the DH rule and think both leagues should use it. Who wants to watch pitchers hit? It's just as bad as watching position players trying to pitch in those 18 and 19 inning games... Finally something Selig got right.

This is one of the all time greats. Not quite up there with larger overall conversations like the punch in the face in front of the wife and kids, the pizza-check writing fiasco or the throwing a midget over the goal line conversations, but so far is one liners go, this was crassic.
