Mike, i have been a poster for a long time. At one of the major server crashes, i somehow lost my ability to use this username and had to create another one (was once thill). but now i have somehow been able to re-log in as this one, and figured i would use my original username. anyway, the email for this username is old and doesn't exist anymore. when i tried to update it to my new email (different than the one registered to "was once thill") i get an error that the email is already in use. i tried entering my email that is being said is in use into the help spot where it will email the username and reset the password, but i didn't receive an email. so i am wondering if something wacky is going on. i don't want to post my email in this message because i don't want to start getting spamed. unless i don't have a need to be concerned about that. how can i rectify this???? thanks.

2 years ago i had carson palmer, chad johnson and tj houz. i drafted tj late and didn't really start him consistantly until 2nd half but they sent me all the way to the super bowl championship.

for 10 years i have played in a local 10 team league with "conventional" scoring of 4pts for a passing td and -1 pt for an int. now i am playing in a 12 team league with 6 pts per passing td and -2 per int. i used to always draft rb in my first 2-3 spots (started 3 rbs b/c of 10 teams), and would always be satisfied to get my qb in round 6 or later. but now i am wondering if i should be grabbing a qb earlier in these spots. maybe, if draft position warrents, taking manning or palmer or brady in round 2. especially a guy who doesn't throw a lot of ints. thoughts?

a lot of leagues used 4 pts per passing td. 6 pts were awarded for rushing and running, but only 4 for passing. i don't think that is that unusual.

the cbs free leagues use this format as well, so i have joined a couple to bone up. league 1 i had pick #2 so i didn't sniff those 3 qbs, they were gone by my #2 pick. ended up with alex smith because bots took 2nd qbs when i didn't expect them too. 2nd i had the #6 pick and manning went #5 and palmer and brady were gone by my next pick. held out a couple rounds and ended up with romo, but i don't like his ints. real draft is this weekend, but i don't know if i could take manning before the top 5 rbs.

my team has been destroyed by injury. portis, ronnie brown, ward, bulger (himself and pace). 10 team league, no ppr, standard scoring. i have penciled in: qb - kitna over bulger rb - gore, t. bell (norwood, sammy morris, brown on bench) wr - d jackson, driver (bryant, berrian, ward on bench) i think my starters are ok, question is flex. morris is the starter but plays #3 rush d in NE bryant plays soft GB d, but i already have gore and bryant has been a dissapointment berrian - don't even want to touch him. i have needed him 2 times this year and he SHOT the bed both times norowood - the home run hitter. will get the ball only 10 times but could be huge. help!

bulger had -6 rushing yards on one play. in the sea v oak game, the oak qb was running for his life, a couple times just running out of bounds. seattle d was credited with a sack for that. so how is it possible that bulger could have -6 rushing yards on one play? i was getting the impression you could only have negative rushing yards if you down the ball. is that basically what he did? fall to the ground with no one touching him? i don't understand.

i am curious because a) i have bulger and in our leauge we give negative points for negative yards rushing. i never understand why CBS doesn't go below zero for rushing yards. when a qb runs for 2 then takes a knee for -1 for a net of 1, he gets credit for 0.1 point in our league. but if he takes a knee for -3 then he would get zero points. anyway, we make those adjustments. last week, the dolphins had negative rushing yards. but then STATS inc reviewed the tape and changed a -7 yard rush to a sack which gave them positive rushing yards for the day. so i know these things are reviewed and want to stay on top of it.

as a gore and brown owner i say OUCH.

what makes LT2 and LJ so valuable. they ALWAYS get the rock at the goal line. i'm a focking mad gore owner anyway.

i have barlow but the guy with washington just dropped him. i have lost portis to injury, now apparently ronnie brown. i have tinker bell but never expected much of him. i need a flex fill in and my normal flex, hines ward, is banged up too. just wondering who is getting the carries, so i will drop barlow and take washington if he is the guy.
