    Mike Floyd-what a POS....................

He might not even make it through to the trade deadline... A few solid names and it could actually be an interesting deadline day in the NFL, as most years they generally are the suck.

    Is VJax droppable?

+1 A trade could make a WORLD of difference.. Same with Doug Martin.

    Gordon

Just did it.. and didn't look back.

    Gordon

I was just offered Alshon Jeffery and Dwayne Allen for him and J Stewart... Seems like a slam dunk, but I have held onto Gordon since week 3. I am 5-2.. so I dunno...
  5. Take him up on this offer.. Dummy team - blah. Get someone in there that will properly manage the team and the spirit of competition is upheld.
  6. I have Eli and RGIII RB are Lacy, Ball, Martin, Rainey and McFadden WR are Brown, Jackson, Harvin, Torrey and Allen I was offered Rivers, Hillman and Garcon for Antonio Brown. Rough, as Brown has been the man.. I am 3-3 currently.. 12 team PPR
  7. Granted both are out, but for stashing purposes.... I can easily get either / or.. I have some deadwood I can dump... Oh - also have Murray, so maybe Randle is smart insurance? Have the option to get any of the three. Oh - current RB's: Lynch, Murray, Jackson, D Brown and Taliaferro.
  8. yeah, that is who I was thinking.. should be back right after the bye.. and it is not his leg, so that is mildly comforting.. of course, one holds the ball with his hands... lol But I am probably going there, dumping Taliferro. But I've done nothing yet..
  9. He's their best RB.... Considering getting him in there - he's got a lot to prove. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6487/stevan-ridley

    Josh Gordon risky play?

So would you start Demaryius over Gordon??
  11. NON PPR LEAGUE... Starting three... D Thomas vs Tennessee (drafted) AJ Green vs Indy (traded for 5-6 weeks ago, for team in dire need at QB, dealing Rivers and Gates) J Gordon vs NE (drafted and waited) A Jeffery vs Dallas (waiver wire)
  12. Are the teams making the moves still playing for something? If so, it wouldn't be close to bush league. If you have consolation rounds, those teams have just as much a right to "battle it out" as the higher tiered teams. If this practice is an issue for some, then why not just end the season for the "non-playoff teams" and be done with it. Again, you give someone something to play for, whether $$, pride, or whatever, don't be surprised if they don't keep plugging away.. I'd consider blacklisting those who didn't. That damages the integrity of the league.
  13. That is not the point. YOUR league has a "consolation bracket". Therefore there are still games to be played, regardless of positioning. By all means, I'll acquiesce and kowtow to the playoff teams. NO WAY. You give me something, anything to play for, I am all over it. You want teams like that in your league. Not ones that say fock it and roll over because they are not in the "prize pool".. Integrity is priceless man. And finishing last?

    Josh Gordon risky play?

I am not in a six team league, I am just talent heavy at WR and my RB's are rubbish.... Gordon is a dilemma for me - I have: D Thomas, AJ Green, A Jeffery and the aforementioned Gordon. ( non PPR ) start 3.. Green is about the only one I am set on. Thomas.. Tenn pass D is pretty stout. Gordon.. Talib.. although the fact that Campbell is back is a relative plus. Jeffery... I have this gut feeling that Marshall goes nuts on the prime time stage. I have no frigging idea which three to start.
  15. Is the aforementioned "consolation bracket" still part of the competition? I assume he is still playing, just playing another team out of the "real" playoffs? Then good for him, swinging until the bitter end. He might not be in the regular playoffs, but if there is still one team playing another team, pride, integrity and competition is still the name of the game. I would never just step aside. If there is a match up to be played, be damn sure I am going to give 110% percent regardless of my spot in the standings. Hell, even if I get a bye, I am still working to better my roster. You should be glad that the teams in your league feel that way. Quitters suck.

HELP: Luck, C. Palmer, or McCown

Wow, what a hit Luck has taken this year.. being lumped in with those two mugs.

Andre Brown or Chris Johnson PPR ?

If Denver gets a nice lead, you'll find yourself hoping for a 40 yard catch and run from Johnson.. Not what I want to bank on.
  19. Yeah, I think that Welker has the big day in the middle, steering away from those solid corners.. That was where I was leaning as well... But yep, sitting Demaryius is a tough pill to swallow. Oh, my RB's A Brown and probably Lamar Miller. (thanks to TRich, Jennings concussed and playing the Jets, and as much as I like Montee Ball...)
  20. So, here we are with the first glorious round of the playoffs. Gazing at the wire, I see some depth options. Of course, this league allows me ONE move per week and that is it. One shot deal. QB I am good. RB is "meh" at best.. With ABrown, TRich, Ridley, Jennings, LMiller, Montee. WR is pretty good lol: DThomas, AJ Green, J Gordon, AJeffrey and Bowe. TE - Gronk and Olsen. K - Succop D/ST - Panthers Running backs are SLIM - We're talking Pierce, DeAngelo, Bolden, Blount, DJohnson, McGahee and your garden-variety handcuffs. ie KDavis, MBush, BJacobs, etc. None of which will provide a better option to start with ABrown (probably looking LMiller and hope that Ridley gets his foot in the door of the doghouse and gets an early release.. So I was looking at K. YAAAY. Gould is there, Monday night vs Dallas. (cold but little chance of precip in a game that could prove a shootout..) Vinatieri is there vs Cincy (snow scheduled).. as is Jani vs the Jets (rain) Any thoughts? Ideas of how I should go?
  21. Always a good idea I figure, to keep a player off your opponent's roster, or to add to you bench strength.. My RB's are a mess due to injuries and ineffectiveness, not too mention, the only RB options on the wire of any merit (relatively speaking) are DeAngelo Williams, Dennis Johnson, Bernard Pierce and Willis McGahee. Eeek. So I see one Ladarius Green on the wire. Bear in mind, I have Gronk and Olsen. We can only start one TE, they are not part of the "flex" options in this league and obviously Gronk gets the nod. Do you bolster your roster by adding someone like Green despite not "needing" him?
