May wanna check that. From baseball-reference.com Cobb's career OPS was .945 and from the same site Mays' comes in at .941 and Aaron at .929. Cobb didn't have the HR pop that's for sure but he finished with a career .366 average and hit doubles and triple like no one's business.

Caught part of 2 on AMC this AM. Was on IMDB and reading about who was in the movie and got a kick out of Pat Morita's stage name when he did stand-up.

Because it required some work. Hell, most of what he's done in Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore et. al., is what most of us do round here daily. If a bunch of mooks like us can pull it off it can't be that hard. Anyway, I agree that it was a very powerful movie. I try not to even think how I'd react if I were put in that situation.

I really liked the way Lucic carried his play into the series. That kid has the potential to be a Neely like winger. Also, I was impressed with Axelsson's physical play. He delivered some nasty open-ice hits.

Was a tough way to go out but I am certainly glad they made a series of it. Tough to lose Muzz that early in the game, but really he's had a tough year. Would like to have him in his prime b/c the B's definitely need a scorer.
