Giants HC Brian Daboll berates offense during ‘sloppy’ practice
jrokh replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in FFToday Board
I’m not there but the beat writers who are have noted DJs footwork looks good. No noticeable limping or anything like that. Seems he is way ahead of schedule. But it’s camp, he’s not taking hits… -

Because I am homer I actually know what's going on in Giants Camp. Obviously, you don't. You just talk nonsense based on nothing. DJ, has been fine, not great but easily outplaying the other QB's in camp (Lock,Devito). You probably cherry picked the one or 2 practices where he wasn't great. His connection with Nabers has been mostly good. Several highlight bombs between them. Regardless, its camp, who cares. You really should worry about your own house, would be a shame if the Giants skunk the Iggles once again this year... -

This is a generationally bad take. DJ is having a fine camp. Not every throw is on point, but that is the same for every QB in every camp. You need new sources… -
Very True. Lot of Simps on here overreacting to every blurb they read on Rotoworld...

They didn't have any trouble beating the Iggles last season, and they are better this year. probably should worry about your own house, what with your schizophrenic coach and QB... -
Splits: Gibbs/Monty, Puka/Kupp, Houston WRS, and so on
jrokh replied to wolves111's topic in FFToday Board
This can be a dangerous game to play. There is no guarantee you get the other player where you are looking to draft him, and statistically you probably won't. Say you pass on AJ Brown because you'd rather grab Devonta smith in rd 4, and when rd 4 comes he gets snagged the pick right before you. Then you don't get either player. As boring as it is, following your draft board is the smart play. If AJ Brown is the highest ranked player when you are on the clock, that should be your pick... -
Where did you get this from? Calvin Johnson was a better prospect, so was Julio Jones. Harrison might not even be the best prospect in his draft class...

You already asked this question, but I'll answer it the same way, Gibbs all day, every day...

Yeah my league doesn’t compute week 17 stats, because why would they. Here is link from GM saying expectations are for a larger workload for Gibbs… https://x.com/profootballtalk/status/1790476868379881812?s=46&t=RVEI5z4YFGHB1Rohv_MEHA

Gibbs finished 7th in avg ppg in half ppr last year. he's going to get the ball more this year. Do the math...

If Etienne, Mixon, and Jacobs are all available in Rd 4 then your league is Simp City...

Only simps go by those rankings, especially in early July…

4th rd pick? I'd snag him with my 2nd rounder and feel fine with it. He'll be gone by the end of rd 2 in my main league fo sho...

Never count out Nick Chubb. Word around these parts (cle) is he’s ahead of schedule

White will be better than the RB41, that is just meaningless hyperbole...
-
Spears will establish himself as the rb1 in Tennessee...

True, picking the ‘right’ players far outweighs draft position…
-
You are right, it’s more like simple arithmetic. Would u rather the first pick in rounds 1,3,5,7,9 or 2,4,6,8,10?
-
The Math is so weighted in favor of the first pick (12 team: pick 1, 24,25,48,49 vs 12,13, 36,37,60), that I can't imagine preferring the latter.

Pacheco over Jacobs? Yikes. Well, I disagree with what you say sir, but I will defend to the death your right to say it....
-
Agree on Gibbs and Taylor, they would be in my top 5. The others close for me In whenever order you want them
-
As much as it pains me to agree with Paws, after the first 5 backs, Jacobs is as good as anyone else...

You must be smoking something mighty fine…

The Saquon you think you are getting isn't really that guy anymore in reality. Last Year he finished 35th overall by PFF grade among all RB's. Even accounting for the terrible OL and bad Gmen offense, his grade of 70.2 isn't great. Guys like James Conner and Tyler Allgier played behind bad Lines and bad teams but finished with 89.2, and 82.9 scores respectively...

Kincaid is the one to target if still on the board round 6 or later. Pitts still has the upside if he drops a little. Doesn't seem worth it to take one in the top 4 rounds... If you are looking for a free lotto ticket, Dulcich on Denver could be the Charlie to a Check-Down Nix...
