  1. Would I be smart to pull trigger and trade Kamara for any one of these three WRs? I have Connor and Aaron Jones as my other starting caliber RB's.

    Kamara for Thomas/Julio/Hopkins

I'd be betting on the health of Connor and Jones - I'd have to pick up a scrub off the WW. We have two RB spots but no Flex. My other WR's are Golladay, John Brown, Corey Davis, and AJ Green. This is a 16-team league BTW - PPR

    Best Fantasy Fball Team Names?!?!

My team name last year was Five Knuckle Shuffle....won the league with that name so I'm keeping it. Got a logo with Quagmire's face and a sound file declaring "there aren't any more girlie magazines in the can!!" My favorite team name from a fellow manager in my league was Dixie Wrecked....

How many of you play in 16 team leagues

I've been in a 16 team league with conservative scoring (50yds/pt QBs, 25yds/pt other perf, no bonuses, no D's) since 1995, and I definitely prefer it to other smaller leagues I've been in. Like others have mentioned it takes a considerable amount of research and savvy to build the championship team through the draft and ww, so I think it is even that much more rewarding when you win. Not to mention that if you have that many owners, you can have quite a sizable winning pot at the end of the year. Although, I think I might have a different view if I hadn't had as much success as I have - 3 championships, numerous runner ups and highest winning percentage in league history

    RB Dilemma

Thanks in advance for the input! I currently am deliberating on which of these 4 RBs to start this weekend: SJax @ NO K. Jones @ AZ B Jacobs vs DAL J Fargas vs CHI I have Jones and Jacobs in the starting slots right now, but i'm not sure - SJax may get involved in the shootout, plus that Chicago D has proven to be pourous vs. the run (GO AD! - vikes fan here...) Give me your link and i'll provide my input.
  6. I agree - Niners are more fodder for Engram to exploit than Indy for Chambers, especially after the big loss.

    Which RB to start?

I'd definitely go with McGahee, unless there is some health issue i'm not aware of. Did he get injured in the last game or something? If not, then there's no question. Denver is a total mess.... Here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=301061

Is this a stupid trade? WHIR

I have been offered a trade where i would give up Housh and either Ryan Grant or Jesse Chatman, and i'd get either MBIII or Bush and Hines Ward. Should I do this trade, and if so, which RB should i take? Thanks for your input and leave your link!

Please pick 2 from this group

I am going to say Grant, Stallworth, and Walter. Something tells me Brown is going to have a drop after his 100-yd day against that feared Vikes pass D, lol. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=299868

    Crazy to bench LT

No way you bench him....i am a Vikes fan and I think they're going to walk all over us in both the passing AND the running game. This is one of those games where their ave. yds against for the run goes up a bit Remember what he did a couple years ago against us? Like 4 TDs and a boatload of yards. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=299868

    WSIS at RB & Flex?

I think the answer is pretty clear - SA and Henry, and if Henry doesn't play i'd go Grant. Probably more scoring opportunities there compared to Jordan. Here's mine - http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=299868

    Alexander or Lewis

I would go with Lewis. Crennel's got the Browns playing good offense, the o-line is jelling, better schedule based on one of the last posters info. I just think that SA, and that whole team for that matter, is running out of gas.... Here's mine.... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=299868

QB-Warner or E. Manning RBs-Henry (Young) & either Chatman. Grant, or Ward WRs-Housh & either Bowe, Marshall, R. Brown or Cotchery TE-Cooley K-Stover No D 16 team league

Tired of the "That's a Team Management" responses

It comes down to a matter of being diligent and patient when posting on the little help board. I put out a couple trade questions, and after answering a few others' questions i got a fair amount of reasonable and meaningful feedback. I guess we're just going to have to be resigned to the fact that there are people who are neither patient nor diligent and we'll continue to see these posts. So rather than posting angry and demeaning responses, why don't we just ignore them - no sense in getting all bent out of shape and increase your own blood pressure by getting angry about it. An angry response is still a response. I'd rather see 0 responses to all those posts - shows disinterest which is what they deserve Just my .02, FWIW

Will Moss keep up the pace?

I just offered a trade sending away Romo, Witten, and ROY for E. Manning, D. Lee, and Moss. My other QB is Brees and my other TE is Shockey, so i can absorb the losses... Is this good value for Moss? Will he continue to consitently score 10-16 pts a week in that offense?

Tired of the "That's a Team Management" responses

Agreed. I just noticed one where the OP laid out their WHOLE roster and asked who he/she should start.... that's just rediculous. Obviously a newbie and an idiot...those people SHOULD be stricken down. BTW - i am not a newbie even though my count is low. I've been perusing this site for years, just haven't been posting much. How do you feel about the subtle management posts, where the OP talks about a player's prospects with the intention of getting management responses back, but isn't explicit with intentions? Those posts seem to elicit meaningful conversation while at the same time answering that persons mgmt question. Just wondering - i might make a sneaky post in the future

    LT trade--yes or no? WHIR!

I would go for the Brees/Addai for LT/Rothlisberger. When you think about it, Addai for LT isn't overly weighed in favor of LT, so Brees for Rothlisberger is also fair, Brees being slightly better. I think the trade would be more in his favor if he only gave you Campbell...that guy stinks in comparison to Brees. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=299779

Need some help with flex spot

I agree - Grant. Even though he may not be the most talented and GB is more pass happy, I think he gets a decent amount of scoring chances the way that offense is clicking right now. Coach was pretty confident in naming the starter.... Here's my post on a potential trade: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=299779

Tired of the "That's a Team Management" responses

Ah....there's the rub. I definitely agree with you there - you have to put in the effort to answer others' questions and they will (hopefully) come back around to yours. I think that is the real problem. People are just too damn lazy to put in that effort so they see only minimal input in return. Then they go on the main board because of the volume members and potential responses. There must just be a ton of lazy people out there. I checked the first 7 pages of posts on that board, and i think the average reply count was less than 5.....

Tired of the "That's a Team Management" responses

I understand that logic and it makes sense, but I have to wholeheartedly disagree. Answer me this - how many people who know the rules and frequent the general board every day do you feel actually take the time to go over to that board and peruse the team management questions? Very few to be sure.... The select few who go out there are the people who haven't given up on using it, but a person can only take so much inactivity. I'm sure that if many of the members regularly went over there to offer their guidance, we wouldn't be having this problem.

Tired of the "That's a Team Management" responses

Then you get smart little posts meant to mask intention like the one today titled "Who is benching Roy Williams vs. Denver?" That one got 12 responses......and no one gave the proverbial "go to the other board", but you can't tell me that the OP didn't have team management on his/her mind. Not to mention that there were responses to the tune of "im starting him" or "I would start him" How is that so different than asking about a players prognistications and calling out that you're wondering if you should start him or another player in the post? Very grey area with this subject in my opinion.

Tired of the "That's a Team Management" responses

I don't think people are posting team management topics on the general board because they can't comprehend the rules. They post them there because no one ever goes onto the Little Help board.... They probably feel like it's a futile attempt to get feedback when no one is there, so their only hope is to take their chances and hope that there are compasionate people on the board who might give them a break

Will Moss keep up the pace?

Damn - i figured that would happen.... Too bad nobody ever looks at that board - there inlies the problem.... Sorry about that!

    Derrick Ward

For what it's worth (and i'm sure a lot of you saw this), Tiki was interviewed after the game and gave a shining endorsement for Ward. He said he thought that they were good hands with him and that he should get the rock in Jacob's absence. Of course he may have been just saying that to dodge the barrage of comeback questions, but he seemed sincere and I think his experience with the team gives weight to his evaluation. I be picking him up in my league....
