    Benson?

Only if the question is "Who on any team has a chance to fumble once a game for the rest of the year?"

    SO WHO FOUNDED THESE FORUMS

Deangelo Montgomery thread was perhaps the greatest thread ever created. I cried when it was finally closed.

    Waiver Wire Gems

Here are the scenarios I see for this: 1) Injury to starter leads to relatively unknown back up coming out nowhere to excel. Ward is potentially a good candidate for this. Person above brought up Mewlede Moore. Michael Pittman a few years back helped me win a league. 2) Low radar Rookie/2nd year player excels. FWP, Michael Clayton, Colston. 3) Trade/ FA pick up brings a low radar player to the forefront. Maybe Dillon this year? 4) Someone recovers from injury at a much faster rate than expected or off an injury year. Pretty much unpredictable.

    Clinton Porits or Edge James

James is 29. Portis is TURNING 26 next month. OP said KEEPER LEAGUE fellas, not redraft.

Depth: What's So Great About It?

So in leagues with no trading, start 1 RB and it is an acceptable risk that one of your 2 starting rbs gets injured or underperforms, this strategy is sound. OK, gotcha.

Depth: What's So Great About It?

Though your numbers maybe sound on paper, it's too narrowminded an approach and relies on an ideal situation... it overlooks all the variables that make FF so complex. If all your players play the entire year at their expected level regardless of matchup at their average point per game this will work. Anyone who has played for more than a few seasons knows that this is just not a sound strategy. Sh*t happens as they say. Injuries occur, players underperform, players overperform. Match ups do make a difference. Value will drop to you in drafts that are just crazy too pass up.

Ravens get home field advantage throughout the playoffs

So.... SD beat KC. Is this thread over now? Pretty sure LT will score another 10 tds against Seattle & Arizona.
  8. bigfeet_88

    ok, that's wrong

I would call this offensive holding. And yes the ball would be live if it was past the LOS. What is your argument here? You prove nothing with this statement.
  9. bigfeet_88

    ok, that's wrong

Let's change all the rules for unintentional touching. When a punted ball hits the back or foot of the blocker on the return team and the kicking team gets the ball, it shouldn't count, because it was unintentional. When the QB throws a ball and it hits a lineman, change it so it's not a penalty. It was unintentional. Better yet, when someone fumbles, let's let them keep the ball. Interceptions too. It was unintentional.

If you don't have NFL Network you can still watch

Yes, it works. I watched the last 2 games on it. Socal Time Warner with no NFL Network.

    Kitna and Kevin Jones owners

In my PPR league, KJ is the 4th ranked RB behind LT, LJ and Westbrook (granted he has not had his bye yet). Considering I got him in the 4th round, he has been fantasy gold for me. His remaining schedule isn't too tough, he seems to be getting used to the offense and getting stronger recently, and DET has shown they will pass to him even when far behind. He is an every down back who doesn't split time, gets almost all the GL carries and catches a lot of passes. I'd have to get a pretty sweet offer to move him. I took a chance on him and AJ this year in a couple leagues and I have been quite happy with both.

    It's Jay Cutler TIME!

I hear the best time to change to an unproven rookie QB is after you have won 5 straight and lead your division. Plummer's pick did lead to Cleveland's only TD, wiping out the shut out I had playing Denver's Def... So, I agree.

    K. Jones ahead of Tiki in rankings?

You're Welcome. Who's ripping your post? I'm asking you a question which you failed to answer.
  14. bigfeet_88

    K. Jones ahead of Tiki in rankings?

So, because of this, it is utterly inconceivable that KJ would put up more FF points THIS WEEK (NOT BY YEAR'S END) against the Jets than Tiki will against Dallas as the OP suggests?

    M. Colston on Yahoo

Then you should also decide on: Garrett Mills Tony Jackson John Foschi Casey Cramer Delanie Walker Randal Williams Reggie McNeal & Michael Robinson And yes, I am being serious.

    M. Colston on Yahoo

I am threatening to quit my league if Michael Robinson isn't stopped being played as a RB/WR in my Yahoo league. Nobody actually has him on their roster, but that is not the point.

The Word STUD and it's gayness

I bought a STUD finder at Home Depot and brought it to my draft. I'm 0-5.

    Comparing the top rookies

I've heard the same thing also about the skill positions. Most say it is because RB is the one position where natural instincts and talent (Knowing how to hit a hole or having good field vision) are most utilized versus learning pass routes, coverages, schemes, etc. Its the reason why there are always more break out rookie RBs instead of WRs or QBs. Plus there is not a stat for how the RB is blocking, which is usually the most difficult thing for a rookie RB to learn. We only see their rushing/receiving stats.

    ***Colston position debate***

I'm imagining the scenario where Frank Gore gets injured and Michael Robinson takes over.... and there are owners starting Robinson at WR and Colston at TE. Hijinx ensues. (holding on to this duo in one league just for the off chance this may happen )
  21. Yah, I lost because of this change as well. Was down 3 with the ATL Def left. At the end of the night it showed 4 points for the Def, 17 points allowed and 1 sack. So I won by one point. This morning it showed I lost by 2. I'm trying to find the rationale behind this. The punt block goes to the NO def, but after the block is it considered a change of possession and the score is made by the special teams now considered the offense. If the punt was received and ran back for a TD, the def gets the points against. I guess that is how they score it.

    Keeper Question

This is not true... SA & LJ would most probably be kept. LT would be in the draft pool. With the third pick of the draft you could actually get an RB as bad as RB11 (9 kept, plus 1st 2 picks of draft). You would also be giving the guy with the 1st pick a pretty good jump start with LT on his roster plus his keeper. I say keep LT.
  23. bigfeet_88

Just had draft, think bold strategy could pan out

Gutsy. Dunn probably would have been the safe pick for consistent RB points. Why didn't you pick up Davenpoop at 15.4 to get the GB TriFecta?
