I saw on NFL Total Access today that if DET releases Joey by June 1, 2006, they will save 5 million on the cap (7 versus a 12 million hit). Almost guarantees that he will be released.

Portis all the way in a keeper. In a keeper start up, you most likely want your 1st rounder to be someone you hang on to and who will be able to produce for you for years to come. Tiki's age can't be overlooked in your decision.
