No one is saying they didn't know about the form or the deadline. They KNEW. And to be clear, I mean they knew back in 2015. They might have "forgotten" over the years, especially with our government not pressing them on it, but that doesn't change the FACT that they knew it was due back in 2015, which ultimately puts the responsibility for this on them. Again, that's the problem with you libs. You overlook the obvious flaws in the cases you choose to go to bat for. This is probably not the hill you should choose to die on.

If YOU were here illegally would you admit you knew it and had not filed the proper forms that would have kept you legal when they were about to deport you? Of course not. But it IS clear. They said they didn't file the form because of a stillborn baby. Where does he think that tidbit came from? The state certainly isn't saying that so it must be the family. It's VERY clear to anyone who can parse the available FACTS and form a LOGICAL conclusion.

Your own article suggests they knew they had a form due. If it's unclear then my opinion on the issue is unclear as well. And look I'm not making excuses for the government. It would be nice if they would go the extra mile and say "hey you know you're overdue on xxx form.". But that's not the governments role or responsibility. If you know you are supposed to file a form and don't that's on you. I hope they get this case figured out and this guy gets to stay. Maybe if the immigration system wasn't so overburdened with illegals they'd have the resources to be more helpful to people such as this. I have three vehicles. Two of them are toys. I just noticed I forgot to register one last year. It's gonna be pricey to get that one legal again, especially with the penalties CO has for being late on that. Would have been nice if they would have called and reminded me but they didn't. That's on me.

You don't. I've seen a bunch of doctors quoted over the last 24 hours and not one has said it's plausible that Biden just found out about it. Pretty much unanimously they said he's likely known about it for years.

I hadn't seen him play much until this year's playoffs. He's a really good player and he doesn't seem to fold under pressure. You could be right about the championship. Those the rules in CA? Different than Oregon from what I recall of their rules. Up there, you have to get two doctors to agree to it and then your PCP gives you a prescription for something that will take you out peacefully. Then, you get to do it to yourself if you choose to.
