Mask mandates coming back: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-14210119/mutiple-states-face-mask-rules-pandemic-virus-winter.html My favorite quote from that article: Why would a sick person ever think of going to the hospital?

I'm not saying they would have been found liable, but I don't think it's cut and dry. There is a report the George was told in advance REPEATEDLY by his producer not to use the R word and he did it anyways. That points to the standard of "actual malice" which could cause ABC to be held liable. Given that the media in general, and George in particular, are outraged that ABC settled I don't think it's as simple as ABC just tossing pocket change at Trump. In general, the media don't like to admit they made a mistake. They want to be thought of as beyond reproach and that their organization supports good "journalism."

These guys really are clowns. They didn't pass our bill - It's their fault. We didn't pass their bill - It's their fault.
-
And a number of the other party voted for it. So what? I got news for you. That happens with just about EVERY bill. That's why you look at how many and use, wait for it.....critical thinking when determining why a bill didn't pass. The fact that almost ALL of the Dems voted against this is the reason this bill didn't pass, not the fact that a fairly small percentage of Republicans voted against it. HTH.

I'll ask you the same thing I asked two of your brethren, who refused to answer: And it was 38. Learn to read or something. GutterAlias
-
Banned alias says what?
-
You didn't answer any of my questions. Not surprised.
-
Tim said the same thing. Here's what I asked him. Maybe you'll actually answer me since he was too chicken sh*t to do so: And did you really bring up the bill being last minute? WTF was the bill they rolled out last night??????
-
You know how else it's not supposed to work? Congress springing a 1500 page "Continuing Resolution" late in the day with no time for the people voting on it to read it or debate it. On another note, private citizens are allowed to voice their opinions. That's called the 1st amendment. It's unfortunate for you that the people voting on this POS bill give credence to certain opinions but unless your stance is private citizens can't have an opinion on a POS bill, that's actually exactly how it's supposed to work. Am I not allowed to call my congressman any more to try to influence them?
-
No. The GOP offered a viable CR. I mean, this wasn't supposed to be a budget bill. It was a 3 month budget extension to avoid shutting the government down. And, other than the debt ceiling extension and things everyone wanted like disaster relief, that's all this had in it. Considering how many times the Dems have raised the debt limit that shouldn't be a deal breaker. The only reason they voted against it is that it didn't include all their pork. If they cared about keeping government open they would have voted for it.
-
It's not delayed. It's dead. Show us again how clueless you are
-
Exactly. We've had them before. And without consequences these idiots, and I mean on both sides, will just keep doing the same sh*t every time.
-
You really sound like you mean it

I am fine with the government shutting down. Won't change my life much, if at all. How will it change yours?
-
As @supermike80 posted earlier, you show on a daily basis how little you understand. I notice you haven't posted in the Fani Willis thread today after your prediction that she'd be taking Trump to trial was proven wrong. As usual.
-
Wrong. The GOP KNEW this would fail, as I posted earlier. It just shows that the Dems don't care about the "disaster relief" that you used to denounce Elon/Trump/GOP all day. It was never about that. Now the GOP gets to tout how the Dems voted against disaster relief. This was an actual CR as opposed to the pork laden bill that was proposed last night. It SHOULD have passed.
-
How many Dems voted against it, and what percentage of each party voted for/against?
-
Then you shouldn't have denounced Trump/Elon/Vivek/GOP for opposing last night's bill. They opposed all the pork in the bill. Be consistent. If you understand why the Dems opposes this simply extension of the status quo then you should understand why the GOP opposed the bill last night. That's why you're a hack. Your bias is clear and you look for any reason to denounce Trump/GOP and any reason to excuse the same behavior from the Dems.
-
Trump and Elon have no authority. The Dems killed this spending bill.
-
Well I guess we can put the "you don't care about the disaster relief" narrative to rest. This bill had it. Just goes to show the Dems don't care about disater relief. I am waiting patiently for @The Real timschochet to denounce the Dems for voting against disaster relief. The GOP cares about disaster relief. You don't. Laughing that disaster relief failed. Such a clown.
-
Trump and Elon have no authority. Are you suggesting they do? And are you suggesting they aren't entitled to an opinion? I just hope you're consistent in laying blame when this new deal fails.
-
Trump and Musk have no authority to stop Congress from passing a bill. And there is a new deal on the table. I look forward to you placing blame more appropriately when this one doesn't pass.
-
So the Dems are already saying they won't support the new CR. I assume GutterAlias and Real Tim will be here momentarily to lambast the Dems for this. ROFLMAO.
-
Initial reports about the new deal suggests it's fairly clean and removes the debt limit for two years.
