  1. I'm not. He did it for political reasons, not because he thought it was wrong.

    Another School Shooting

So there was another one today in Baltimore. 16 year old shot and killed a 15 year old in the bathroom. 16 year old in custody but apparently due to some new whackadoodle law there for "juvenile justice reform" the cops aren't allowed to question the 16 year old. So, no motive at this point.
  3. Emerson college too. And this is how you know Tim is just a hack. At the earliest signs of life for Kamalatoe's campaign be changed the title of this thread and left it that way for the last three weeks. I told him last week that her momentum had waned and to change the title and he refused. Now it's clear the momentum has swung the other way and the best he will do is say "Meh.". Just a big old hack.

    STEM vs STEAM

You have it exactly right. STEM NEVER meant excluding the Arts. STEM refers to ones primary field of study, their "major" if you will. You still have GE requirements to get a degree and that's where the Arts should be. I bet Jerry took GE classes at MIT.
  5. In polls. That's where. FFS.

    STEM vs STEAM

    No he didn't.
  7. Because in our judicial system we let things go at the lowest level unless there is something especially egregious. You and I may think so in this case but at this point there is only an appearance of impropriety. Our system includes an appeals process and once appealed I have no doubt this case will be overturned. Because we have that process the appeals courts let the lower processes complete before getting involved. But we all know an upheld conviction was never the point of this prosecution. It is simply to be able to hold it over Trump during the election. Once the election is over no one will care about this case.
  8. I'm not insistent on you agreeing with me. I simply ask people to not to be ignorant when forming opinions. Last night you admitted you had not read the article. So you were admittedly, voluntarily ignorant of relevant information. That is what I give people sh#t about. I can respect a difference of opinion as long as we're both knowledgeable about the relevant available information. That is why I often provide links to support my assertions.
  9. The article I linked covered a number of reasons he's a snake oil salesmen Not my fault you chose not to read it. Maybe if it had more pictures you might have been more inclined to educate yourself. Another trait I've noticed of libs is their embrace of being ignorant of the topics they discuss. Makes no sense to me but is very common in my experience.

  11. It wasn't taken out of context. They purposely only printed part of his comments to make it sound like something entirely different than what he said. And, not.posted here, then the Kamalatoe campaign ran with it and reposted it. It's almost like there was coordination between the AP and her campaign to get this out there and then they retract their headline after the damage is done. AFAIK Kamalatoe has not done the same.
  12. Doesn't take much with some of you. What's interesting about you libs is you make assertions, as you did, that are false. And when shown actual proof that they are false your type refuses to admit it, and you rarely if ever provide any supporting evidence to back up your assertion to begin with. Then you get all condescending and righteous when people such as myself and Jerry offer data and logical reasoning in trying to have an intelligent conversation on the topic. Such is the geek club, and libs in general in life as well.
  13. He's just going to tell large corporations to do it, just like Kamalatoe. Otherwise they're "gouging."
  14. I don't care enough to figure that out. But that blog post does a great job of proving that this guy is just a snake oil salesman. You should delete your original post touting his prediction record.
  15. So you didn't read the article either, huh? Read the first paragraph of this document and tell me whether it says electoral college or popular vote: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ksm9n3qsptqkjd7avr5km/Allan-Lichtman-2016-The-Keys-to-The-White-House-Social-Education-80-5.pdf?rlkey=qdtcni8kxv60qxfz52ewecy1u&e=2&st=27o5ep7i&dl=0
  16. Some politicians. And only because people like you allow it. Take a stand. Commit to not voting for someone who won't define their policies.
  17. She could clear up any confusion pretty easily, couldn't she?
  18. I think she has the same motivations as her gouging initiative - To do nothing. She's saying it now to get elected and it will die on the vine if she does. It panders to low income people who think the rich are the problem.

    Another School Shooting

So, according to the following article, the gun was a Xmas gift from the kid's father AFTER the FBI investigation last year so he knew it was likely his kid had threatened a school shooting, and he told the investigators that his kid didn't have unsupervised access to guns. https://www.cnn.com/2024/09/05/us/winder-georgia-shooting-apalachee-high-school/index.html If that's the case the father should be prosecuted just like those parents in Michigan were.
  20. Did you read the article? Prior to Trump winning he had said his model picked the popular vote winner. AFTER Trump won, he CHANGED his stance to say that his model predicted the electoral college winner.
  21. Not really: https://goodreason.substack.com/p/you-can-ignore-allan-lichtman-and
  22. All he said was he wanted the same rules he agreed to with Biden. And once that was confirmed he agreed to the debate. He certainly hasn't been "waffles for weeks." But Kamalatoe has. Quit lying.
