Initial reports about the new deal suggests it's fairly clean and removes the debt limit for two years.

A grown up would acknowledge that a "continuing resolution" shouldn't be 1500 pages and contain massive new spending, not to mention a massive salary increase for Congress. A grown up would understand that people missing checks is a small part of the issue and directly attributable to how bad this CR is. So no, you're not one of the grown ups talking here.
