    June 27 Presidential debate

Ooh, you got me. Reagan is the only other one. But yeah, I wasn't really in to politics back then, and of course, our country ran as well as it ever has under Reagan so he really didn't need to do a lot of press conferences. The country has been going down the toilet under Biden so it'd be nice if had to answer for that a little more. And, of course, the big knock on Reagan was his age as well.

Moving the goalposts now, eh? Why did you acknowledge you were wrong earlier? Pretty normal for you lefties though.

Speeches are not the same as debates, or press conferences. Reading a teleprompter is not the same thing as answering live questions, even though he often struggles with just reading a teleprompter. There's a reason he's given the fewest press conferences of any President of our lifetimes. But apparently the tactic worked on you.

    Terms like "running for President?".

Uh, to any reasonable.person running for the nomination equals running for President. He just lost earlier or, in one case, had to quit due to his history of plagiarism and lying.

[** Official President Joe Biden Thread **]

According to Axios, not exactly a right wing site, Biden is only worth a crap for 6 hours a day: https://www.axios.com/2024/06/29/two-bidens-trump-debate-2024-president Let's just hope we don't have a national emergency that requires a lucid leader of the free world outside the hours of 10 am to 4 pm.

How the fock do you know he spoke "off the cuff?" When Biden does interviews the topics and questions are discussed in advance, and only done with friendly interviewers. When Biden does an off the cuff "interview" with Fox News let me know. Don't be so focking naive all the time.

    1) That was an online poll. As unreliable as polls are, IMO online polls are the worst. 2) It's not just about polling. It's about money: https://variety.com/2024/biz/news/hollywood-democrats-panic-biden-debate-1236056752/

Not being able to remember Afghanistan isn't a valid defense either. everything that came out of his mouth should have been rehearsed a million times to Sunday for the last week.

I'm curious what our libs think of Bidens claim from the debate that he hasn't lost a single service member during his administration. I find it disgusting. What say you?

Viewership numbers are out. 78 million people watched Joe Biden poop himself last night.
  19. It may never happen. About a decade ago I resigned myself to the fact that we are focked as a country. I got 25 years left on this planet give or take. I'll do what's best for me to enjoy that time. I'll stick to my ideals re: voting. It may not change anything but it won't hurt. I feel bad for those of you with kids, as you approach your end while realizing how focked the next generations are.

Ooh you got me GB. Saying "he doesn't understand what a tariff is" is SOOOO different than saying "he doesn't know how tatiffs work.".

Oh so he didn't say he doesn't know how Tariffs work. GB wrong again.
  23. The only way we change the direction of this country is if a viable third party emerges. So, when the two from the major parties aren't worthy of being President, I vote third party. In 2016 that was the case IMO. I'm glad I was wrong about Trump and over four years his POLICIES I thought were good. He actually followed through on his campaign promises unlike Joe and Obummer. So I'm ok with giving Trump another chance but will not hesitate to vote third party in the future. Just because the person you vote for doesnt win doesn't mean you wasted a vote.
