You didn't post a legal doc. I didnt even ask for one. Just post a credible source making the argument. If it's a valid argument I'm sure one exists. But I haven't seen one person even make that claim so I'm skeptical. And if I refused to read a 2 page doc there was more to it than I couldn't be bothered. How about a link so we can the REAL reason I chose not to read it, assuming I did decline to do so. That isn't my M.O.

No. I hope they prevail in their lawsuit and Disney has to make them whole. I kind of doubt that will happen but I don't know what promises were made. I feel bad for the fella who sold his childhood home to move to Florida. But he made that choice. I find it entertaining watching Disney, and people who predicted Disney would prevail in their lawsuits over Florida/Desantis, have to deal with more repercussions of their wokeness.

I don't believe in taxing to alter behavior. I've never believed in sin taxes and wouldn't support this use of them either. Not to mention how wasteful our government is with money. There is no reason to give that entity more money than it needs. It only encourages the continued expansion of an entity that does not create anything. All resources that are used by government are resources removed from the private sector which actually creates stuff. I will not encourage more of that.

Uh, I've been touting Nuclear for decades!!! In fact, I take credit for @The Real timschochet's sudden change in stance supporting Nuclear. If you read threads on this over at FBG's gong back a decade or more you'll find that Tim was opposed to Nuclear until relatively recently.

We aren't doing "nothing." The U.S. has CUT it's carbon footprint more than any other country on Earth. Granted, it started out from a much worse standpoint than most but regardless, we've been cutting our carbon footprint for decades and made a significant impact. When you say things like we're doing "nothing" you hurt your already lacking credibility. Care to retract that assertion?
