Well, I don't know that it's unworkable. I was in Australia for work and tipping isn't something they do over there. The cab driver looked at me like I was nuts when I tipped him, and the waitress as well. So it's doable. But it's so ingrained in to our culture that I don't see something like that changing overnight with the signing of a piece of legislation. And that would be chaotic, which may be what you're getting at.

Not one arrest was made.

I'm not sure I agree with this one. Have to think about it more but when the economics of the job dictate that the pay is split between an hourly rate/salary and tips, the tips are part of the compensation package and therefore should be taxed. It'd be like saying an executives bonus isn't part of his base pay and therefore shouldn't be taxed.

They should get some social workers to protect them while they pave the streets. -

Hamas was holding these four hostages in civilian homes. Yet the Hamas apologists like @The Real timschochet think it's Israel's fault when "innocent" Palestinians get killed during a rescue operation. A "journalist" interviewing a former IDF spokesman actually asked him if Israel should have WARNED Hamas about the rescue operation.

When he never mentions them, hasn't done sh#t to get them back, and is trying to force Israel out of Gaza before getting them back, I consider that the absolute definition of ignoring. If you think differently then I guess my diagnosis of your dementia last night may be accurate. I'm glad you can get a good laugh out of this situation while Hamas still has American hostages though.

I measured and today I'm only 11.5 inches instead of my normal 12. May have to kill myself

Israel rescued four hostages despite Biden ignoring the American hostages still held by Hamas and trying to force Israel in to a ceasefire with those terrorists God bless Amen.

Did it occur to you that Gutterboy might be in the early stages and that is why you're having so much trouble reaching common ground? Maybe you should apply your new found knowledge of signs of dementia to his posts in this thread.

Caitlin Clark's appeal has nothing to do with her race. She wowed people in college. Would have been just as much hype if she was black. Race isn't at the center of every issue. Come on people.

Well I know why she's a single mom -
No. She's 100% correct. Some of you are either ignorant or worse. But she's right.

That's called good journalism!

Teams value positions differently and that changes over time. There was a time RB's were the focus of the offense and got paid accordingly. The NFL has changed the rules to make it a passing game and that has altered the salaries of RB's (lower) and WR (higher). It's unfortunate if you're a RB but for most players the position they play is determined by body makeup as well as skills. Some people are never going to be a WR but make a great O lineman. Anyone on the team still makes great money compared to what they'd be making if they weren't in the NFL so they should probably just be happy to be there.
