Wow, so off base. How about people find sources they consider credible, and use multiple sources along with critical thinking skills to form informed opinions on their own. The weakest link is the indoctrination being done in our primary school system and the lack of critical thinking skills being taught. We're dumbing down the country one generation at a time. Hopefully home schooling and school choice can stem that tide.

It's worth nothing that the governor is already being spoken of as a possible candidate for President in the next election. That he hasn't already nipped this in the bud is telling.

I've actually seen all seasons. Showtime just happened to have on Episode 10 of season 2 last night, and it got me wanting to see the last two episodes of that season so I streamed them. Definitely some interesting characters on the show. I like the narration of Dexter's thought processes. Overall, a solid show with a couple of slow seasons. There's a season with John Lithgow that is amazing if you finish all the seasons.

How far through it are you? I watched the last few episodes of Season 2 last night. They just happened to be on. Some of the seasons were kind of weak but it started off very strong. There are two spin off series coming out soon so you better hurry up!

I try to be optimistic, and I wouldn't wish such a fate on anyone, especially someone I might try to wager a handy out of at some point.

The problem is, as Jerry noted above, the time for having fun at your expense has passed. It'd be like the Pittsburgh Steelers were playing the Rams in the SB and you talked trash for a month before the SB at the bar you go to every night about how the Steelers were going to destroy the Rams, and then the Rams beat the crap out of the Steelers in worse fashion than the Seahawks did my beloved Brconos, where we lost in an embarrassment of a game. The time to make fun of someone after a game like that is RIGHT AFTER THE GAME. But instead of being there after the game, you disappeared from the bar for two weeks. By that point giving you sh*t about being wrong, while sill enjoyable, just doesn't have the same fun to it. And, you have just disappeared from the bar you go to every night for two weeks to avoid getting the sh*t you deserve. Just leaves a bad taste in people's mouths.

Don't get me wrong. I love me some Dana Perino. She's hot and intelligent for sure. And I met her at a book signing she did down the street from my house about 7 years ago. I just feel short changed by that video.

I think you're being a bit naive here Jerry. Aren't you the one who always trots out "Occams Razor?" After being an insufferable Koont for months, @OldMaid vowed to be here on election night to give all us non lefties a shoulder to cry on and didn't even show up. She couldn't be bothered to stop by the day after the election to take her crow and then conveniently needed surgery the day after that. One of my colleagues from work's wife actually had carpal tunnel surgery the other day. Was like an hour procedure. I get that it makes one hand unusable but it's not gonna stop you from getting on the internet for a week. The more likely scenario is @OldMaid waited until things died down a bit, came with her sympathy story about needing surgery and tried to just sneak in the back door after being such an insufferable koont for months. I don't really care but I find it pretty sad personally. And, if you look at the bored today, she's starting to insert herself all over the place. So much for not being here much until she heals. Or maybe she's just a super fast healer.
