As far as Trump being polarizing, a study came out recently that showed that the MSM paints Trump negatively something like 95% of the time and Kamalatoe positively a similar percentage. Obviously I don't know your network but a wireless access point is different than a wireless router. It just takes an ethernet connection and then transmits the same packets (data) wirelessly. It doesn't require anything from your ISP (cable company).

I have no idea. I have a couple of firesticks as well. Never touched a Roku. If you've run ethernet out there's no reason you can't have wifi. Get a Wireless Access Point. It will convert that ethernet connection you ran to wireless.

The ethernet to the TV should work fine. I'd be shocked if it cared whether the network connection was wired or wireless.
