  1. Irrelevant. Making wrong presumptions is what gets cops killed. Cops are taught to control the situation, period. They don't let you wander off and do your own thing, ever. I hate defending cops but some of you people are ridiculous. Just follow their directions and things go smoothly 99.9% of the time. When you act unpredictably the chances of things going wrong rise. If you have an issue with your interaction with the cop, the time to deal with that is AFTER the interaction, not in the middle of it.
  2. I agree these cops could have handled things better, especially re: communications. And their actions regarding getting TH out of the car and under control were them being cautious. But, they didn't handle it better. So bust them for violating process/procedures/training. That's something you do after the fact as a disciplinary and training measure. TH shoulders much blame as well.

  4. Bump for @TimHauck. Why are you avoiding enlightening us with your intimate knowledge of all of Calias Campbell's interactions with cops?
  5. The problem with this course of action is it presumes that TH is an altruistic citizen who isn't doing anything wrong. Making wrong presumptions is what gets cops killed. What if, instead of being a star receiver on the Dolphins, TH was a gang banger with a gun under his seat that he was trying to buy time to grab by rolling up his TINTED window. Your scenario gives him a defined period of time in which to finish completing that action without visibility for the cop . I would not advise training cops to give people they've pulled over defined periods of time in which the cop cannot see what they're doing. That would increase the risk level of an already very dangerous profession exponentially.
  6. That's not necessarily true. Most people never have an interaction with a cop via traffic stop or arrest. How many times has he? If you don't know then you shouldn't make the statement bolded above. Additionally, as they say about the stock market, past performance is not a predictor of future results. I just wish people would let cops do their jobs instead of making it so difficult and then picking apart every action they take. It's a difficult, dangerous job, and acting like these guys did makes the outcomes unpredictable, when they are totally predictable if these guys don't act as they did.
  7. The company I worked for at the time lost 358 people in the 9/11 attacks. While I didn't know any of them personally I will never forget that day or those colleagues.

  11. You talking about Covid? Anyone who looks at his response objectively is more than satisfied with it.
  12. Kamalatoe's policies section on her website was plagiarized from Joe Biden. ROFLMAO. She couldn't even come up with her own policies!!
  13. Not exactly but kind of yes. Got pulled over twice within a mile or so and was kind of pissed, and slightly but not over the limit buzzed. So I got out of my car and started walking towards the cop car saying somewhat loudly that his buddy just pulled me over and let me go. He got on his PA and sternly told me to get back in my car and wait. He didn't shoot me. Must have been my Asian privilege.
  14. Not sure where you found that since you didn't provide a link, but thanks to you I googled this issue in Florida and found multiple law offices who say very clearly than IN FLORIDA you are required to roll down your window when pulled over. I won't get in to the semantics of rolling it back up because why would you? It just seems obvious to me that one should leave it down. At the very least leave it open enough that a cop has a clear view inside the car so they feel safe. Otherwise what happened here is a likely outcome. And none of this is to excuse the behavior of these officers. Once they got him outside the car and handcuffed there was no reason to manhandle him the way they did or talk to him the way they did. They're lucky they didn't injure his shoulder. This would be a lot worse for the cops if they had.
  15. I think you're wrong. Now, it may not be documented so maybe putting the window up wasn't technically illegal, but refusing to put it down when the cop starts demanding you do so sure as hell is.
  16. This description is wrong in so many ways

    I-75 Shooting

Do you have any idea how much crank 5 grand gets you in the holler?
  18. The cops were dicks and probably violated policy on some things. But, why the fock did TH put his window up? Nothing happens if he doesn't do that. Ugh.
  19. Trump leading in latest poll by that right wing rag The New York Times.
  20. Trump has underpolled by several points in the polls in the previous two Presidential elections. @The Real timschochet refuses to acknowledge that. Just another data point that shows how much of an ignorant hack he is.
  21. So? Passing the law doesn't give the fund more money. That has nothing to do with it. Spending Californian's money wastefully has never stopped him before. He's giving all the illegals free healthcare. He doesn't care about fiscal responsibility. Everything he does is to advance his political aspirations.
  22. I'm not. He did it for political reasons, not because he thought it was wrong.

    Another School Shooting

So there was another one today in Baltimore. 16 year old shot and killed a 15 year old in the bathroom. 16 year old in custody but apparently due to some new whackadoodle law there for "juvenile justice reform" the cops aren't allowed to question the 16 year old. So, no motive at this point.
  24. Emerson college too. And this is how you know Tim is just a hack. At the earliest signs of life for Kamalatoe's campaign be changed the title of this thread and left it that way for the last three weeks. I told him last week that her momentum had waned and to change the title and he refused. Now it's clear the momentum has swung the other way and the best he will do is say "Meh.". Just a big old hack.
