  1. Yeah keep fighting!! Worked well with RBG.
  2. You know what else are facts? 2+2 =4, My Mustang is blue, and The Denver Nuggets won the 2023 NBA title. You know what else is a fact? None of these facts have anything to do with what we're discussing, just like none of the "facts" you just posted have anything to do with the quote I keep posting: Now, do you have any facts that support the above quote or are you going to just keep deflecting to try to save face? And then you wonder why I might on occasion resort to a personal insult. Because instead of having an intelligent conversation, which in another Geek Club era you were capable of doing, you blather on like the village idiot and waste my time. Have a good night Jan.
  3. Right, so it would be a baseless opinion for someone to say that, unless of course they actually had proof that Trump did in fact have that conversation.
  4. This is a flat out lie. The ONLY fact you've given me is that clip that says Trump spoke to Putin, which would not be unexpected of world leaders. You have not posted any facts that suggest anything else in the quote I've posted at least 5 times. So you don't have those facts, and now you're lying about having posted them because I've made you look stupid. Got it.
  5. Nothing in your clip says the following: OMG Trump spoke to Putin!!!! Why would a former President, and likely NEXT President, talk to another world leader? I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that that happened!!! But there are no details. We don't know when or why, have zero context. That's weak. I asked for proof of your assertions detailed, AGAIN, in the above quote. Do you have that proof or don't you?
  6. Seriously. It's not like there's much ambiguity in the following statements:
  7. We know they spoke? When did they speak? I've asked you multiple times for PROOF. Facts are usually pretty easy to prove. If you've got them, go ahead and post them. TIA Jan.
  8. Yeah, god forbid "journalists" have standards. And you know, the radio station had a policy against this. Do you think employees who violate company policy should be subject to discipline, up to and including termination?
  9. Let me ask you this though. Do you consider the following statements to be "baseless opinion" or substantiated fact, since you chose to insert yourself in to a discussion that had nothing to do with you:
  10. These the same people who found that Trump paid a Russian prostitute to pee on him?
  11. No, you said Trump and Putin have spoken. And that if Trump wins the U.S. backs off, and IN RETURN Putin is doing everything he can to get Trump in to office. Here, let me post your quote again: Those are YOUR words. You can try to change the meaning of them now since I'm calling you out but words have meaning and those words are pretty damn clear. That's "baseless opinion." Unless of course you have some proof to back it up.
  12. Do you have a point, or are you trying to support my argument?
  13. No, that's not what you said. Here is EXACTLY what you said, quoted: That is 100% different than what you just posted GutterJanBrady.
  14. Now you're just making sh*t up. The only documented involvement with Russians in the 2016 election had to do with Hitlery and the Dems. That doesn't mean they didn't TRY to influence the election. But saying Trump had anything to do with that is ridiculous. If you have PROOF of Trump conspiring with Putin to influence the U.S. Presidential election I'd love to see it. But you don't because it doesn't exist. And, of course, the U.S. has been influencing elections all over the world for decades. You have zero problem with it but when it's "RUSSIA" you go ape sh*t. You're like Jan Brady screaming "Marcia Marcia Marcia" except your refrain is "Russia Russia Russia!!!!"
  15. This sure sounds like a baseless opinion

    Buying a House vs Renting

I tell young kids at work all the time to buy a condo. Sometimes you just can't afford your dream home the first go round. A buddy of mine from work named Joey lamented that every year his rent went up a significant amount and one year he moved to a worse apartment due to it. He wanted his first home to be a house and he wanted it to be nice. I told him the benefits to a condo are: 1) Cost certainty. You know what your monthly payment is and it won't change. In hot markets rent can increase crazy amounts. A condo is just like an apartment but it's yours. 2) You get the same benefits as a house in that you are building equity. So when you've saved enough for that HOUSE that you want you can then move on to that and have some equity to boot so your monthly payment didn't ALL go in to someone else's pocket. But generally, IMO, you want to get in to the ownership game as soon as possible if that's your end goal. If that's a condo so be it.

Had to put our cat Ninja down yesterday. :(((((

One last thing. Ninja is a pretty cool cat name.
  22. To me the low hanging fruit is the high school age kid you are ready to discard. If they don't want to study Shakespeare and Calculus maybe we should bring back shop class. There is a shortage of plumbers and Carpenters. Several of my best friends from HS didn't give a sh*t about academics but were damned good at trades. One owns his own construction company now and remodels celebrity homes. To me, the more difficult case is the young kid with apathetic, or worse, parents.
  23. I understand how you COULD get it on vacation. I question WHY you would choose to do so.
