The point was to compare and contrast a debate or press conference with a speech, since your assertion was that Biden is fine because he gave a speech the day after the debate where he didn't crap his pants. Do you not see a distinction between a speech and a debate or press conference? Why do you think his handler's won't let him do press conferences?

He has a lot of them. He constantly says his son Beau died either during military duty or from military duty. The during military duty claim is absolutely false, and there has never been any evidence that Beau's military duty had anything to do with the cancer he died from YEARS after returning from duty. His LIE about how his first wife died is extremely disgusting as well. She caused an accident and Joe blamed the other driver, accusing him of being drunk without a shred of evidence. This man went to his grave never having been apologized to for this blatant lie and by accounts from his family the lie had a significant negative impact on his life.

Gutterpedo is the one who wants to argue about Reagan. My point is that there is a reason Bidens handlers won't let him do press conferences, and that reason was on full display the other night. Eh. I generally agree with your stances EG but it seems to me you're showing dislike bias against Trump. I hate the man personally, and didn't vote for him the first time he ran. But I was not unhappy with the job he did as President. I found his policies to be reasonable and, for the most part, well thought out. I would rather someone else be in his place with similar policies but I would not say he is unqualified. He very much exceeded my expectations during his four years in office.

Ooh, you got me. Reagan is the only other one. But yeah, I wasn't really in to politics back then, and of course, our country ran as well as it ever has under Reagan so he really didn't need to do a lot of press conferences. The country has been going down the toilet under Biden so it'd be nice if had to answer for that a little more. And, of course, the big knock on Reagan was his age as well.

Speeches are not the same as debates, or press conferences. Reading a teleprompter is not the same thing as answering live questions, even though he often struggles with just reading a teleprompter. There's a reason he's given the fewest press conferences of any President of our lifetimes. But apparently the tactic worked on you.
