*** Official Hunter Biden Trial Thread ***

This case doesn't go to trial but for a judge that actually read a plea agreement between Hunter and the DOJ that no one else would have gotten that so embarrassed the DOJ they had no choice but to actually prosecute the crimes. That you refuse to acknowledge that just shows how you follow your team regardless of the data.
  2. Good non-rebuttal of facts. Your go to
  3. So you admit the link I posted was not just bad polls for Biden. IOW, you're a focking liar and you knew it when you posted the statement. Of course, I already knew that. Listen, I posted a link to the most respected political poll aggregator in the world. It's not my fault Biden looked poor in that link. And that doesn't equate to "only posting polls that are bad for Biden." Just stop.
  4. You're wrong. I've linked to 538's page where they list a BUNCH of polls. Are you suggesting that when I did that ALL of the polls they listed were bad for Biden?
  5. He has another trial for tax charges coming up in a few months. I suspect he'll plead on that one. It's as open and shut as this one was.
  6. WTF???? You didn't say I never post positive polls about Biden. That's not what I responded to. It's posts like this that illustrate your lack of intelligence. You're like a neanderthal trying to use the English language. Reading your posts is like listening to Mongo from Blazing Saddles.

He could still commute the sentence though without pardoning Hunter.

I read that this same judge recently sentenced someone to a year for a very similar crime.

Post a link to a gun crime committed with a gun sold in a private sale. Then we can talk.
  10. I'm not projecting sh*t. I'm LITERALLY using your own words against you. As usual, you pretend you didn't make statements that you did. Unlike you, I don't need to do things like that because my stances don't change. Yours do, with the wind. And then you end up twisting yourself in to pretzel knots of semantic bullsh*t to cover for the fact that you constantly change stances. And you're lying when you say I've only linked to polls that look bad for Biden. About the only "polls" I've linked are to 538's page listing EVERY poll they track on the presidential election. I don't know why you feel the need to constantly lie but for some reason you do. Regarding Hamas, no I'm not going to apologize you focking terrorist supporter. That is MY evaluation of your posts in the Israel thread. As I've told you over and over, I'm more than willing to debate you on opinions. And that is MY opinion based on your posts. But I will call you out on FACTUAL errors such as your statement above saying I ONLY post negative polls about Biden. That's is FACTUALLY untrue. I wish you'd learn the difference between facts and opinions but I think you're a bit mentally challenged and may be unable to differentiate between those two things.
  11. 538 is behind. They'll catch up eventually, right Tim? Or NOW you believe them? As I've said, you believe polls/sources when it benefits you and discount them when it doesn't. Thanks for proving my point.

Trump to eliminate taxes on tips

Since when does allowing someone to keep the money they've earned equate to "taking as much as you can from the poor?"

Trump to eliminate taxes on tips

Who said anything about kids? I don't have any. But what I CHOOSE to happen with my money when I die should be MY decision. Besides the FACT that it's MY money, that's been taxed and rightfully belongs to me, I think I can do a lot more good with it than the government. I'd like to donate it to a charity of my choice that will use the money wisely and on things I'd like it spent on, not on the wasteful things the government would use it and potentially for purposes I would be ideologically opposed to.

Trump to eliminate taxes on tips

There's a great book I read in my younger years called "The Millionaire Next Door" written by a couple of economists who did a lot of research and focus groups with your average millionaire. The book came out in 1996 and I read it around 1998 so been a while and a millionaire at that time probably meant a lot more than it does today. I don't remember the book all that well as it's been a while but a couple of things I do remember: - For their focus groups they'd invite a bunch of millionaires and have a food spread. They'd often have things like caviar and other high end foods because, well, millionaires. But they found most of the millionaires didn't want that. They'd have been fine with chips and dip. - The reason those people didn't want the caviar is that a large percentage of millionaires didn't get there from having some huge income. They worked middle class jobs but didn't spend lavishly and wisely invested and over the course of a lifetime those meager/moderate savings grew and by the time of retirement it was a tidy sum of money. And people like @IGotWorms would love to take their money when they die. The book is a great read. Highly recommended.

Trump to eliminate taxes on tips

I think it's funny that people use the fact that a large percentage of tipped workers break the law by not paying their "fair share" as a reason we should just eliminate that tax to begin with. If we all stop paying our income tax maybe Trump will respond by eliminating it!!!! FREE STUFF FOR EVERYONE!!!!!
  20. By strong debate performance do you mean finding his place on the stage without Jill's help or not drooling all over the podium?

Trump to eliminate taxes on tips

Well, I don't know that it's unworkable. I was in Australia for work and tipping isn't something they do over there. The cab driver looked at me like I was nuts when I tipped him, and the waitress as well. So it's doable. But it's so ingrained in to our culture that I don't see something like that changing overnight with the signing of a piece of legislation. And that would be chaotic, which may be what you're getting at.

Trump to eliminate taxes on tips

I'm not sure I agree with this one. Have to think about it more but when the economics of the job dictate that the pay is split between an hourly rate/salary and tips, the tips are part of the compensation package and therefore should be taxed. It'd be like saying an executives bonus isn't part of his base pay and therefore shouldn't be taxed.
