I hope they are reading back, and the jury is taking notes on, the instruction that says if the jury finds that a witness lied on any point during their testimony that the jury can discount their entire testimony as not credible.. If so, the jury will be able to discount the entire prosecution case and this trial will be over by lunchtime.

My point is that you have no clue how many, if any, of those jurors this will be a "pay cut" for. In the jurisdictions I've lived in financial hardship is a valid reason to be excused from jury duty. I would suspect given the length and scope of this trial that the court would be very sympathetic to that issue.

My last job paid me for my time on jury duty.

I had most of this race recorded on DVR. I was watching the Indy 500 and didn't get to this until it was well underway and it was pretty much too late to start swapping drivers by the time I realized it might help.
