[** Official President Joe Biden Thread **]

Inflation was going down under Biden, now it’s going back up
Strike replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
This is untrue. They just have to be more fiscally responsible. And once they are more fiscally responsible, we can talk. But there's no reason for me to give up my benefits just so they can continue their out of control spending. Biden just forgave another $72 million dollars in student loan debt. That money could have gone to shore up SS. Fock them. -

Who says they can't retire? They have SS. I have a great idea though. If you, and everyone who thinks like you, give up your SS benefits the system won't fall over as quickly. Then people like me who don't like being stolen from can have their hard earned benefits. Win Win. Thank you for your sacrifice! -

At this point? Don't rely on the government and get from them whatever the fock you can. Call me selfish but anyone who thinks the government isn't one of the most corrupt institutions that doesn't give a sh*t about you is living in lala land. Hi @The Real timschochet. When the government reforms itself I will consider making sacrifices to get things back on track. The government has so much waste that could be used to fix SS. Let them get a handle on that and then come talk to me if that isn't enough. Why should *I* have to forego a benefit I've worked hard for all my life when the government could fix it themselves? -

Who knows? I didn't do their financial planning. But it's not fair to promise them a benefit for half their life and then not give them their benefit. The fact that the SS system is one of the worst investments a person can make, and that the government has been stealing from it for decades, isn't the fault of the people who put in to that system. -

So what? Maybe those "multi millionaires" want to have an extravagant lifestyle once they retire and did their financial planning based on having additional income via SS. They worked their whole life with that goal in mind but hey, fock em. I'll pass. -

If you want to talk about specific programs, let's go for it. But that's no excuse for STEALING money we were all promised throughout out lives. Because that's what it is when someone tells you "give me $500/month for 30 years. And then 30 years roll by and they say "PSYCHE!!! Fock you. We're keeping the money we promised you." -
Pipe down, Howard!!!

Tim, I'm gonna give you one more chance. Here's a story from one of your beloved MSM sources: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/oberlin-college-and-gibsons-bakery-a-protest-against-racism-and-a-31-5-million-dollar-defamation-award/ This is the NEW President at Oberlin. Do you hear any remorse from her? And the President that left in the middle of all this, along with the Dean of students mentioned in this piece that also left, were 10 times worse. This is from 2019 while the appeals process was just starting, but Oberlin's attitude hasn't changed in the least since. It's worth noting that this report is not that accurate. Free speech was not a part of the trial, despite Koppel accepting that from the college and students. But I'm trying to offer you something you'll find credible and despite the inaccuracies the piece shows the disdain the college shows about this incident.
-
Tim, I really have to know. Are you focking retarded? There has never been discussion of them apologizing because to this day they have NEVER ADMITTED THEY DID ANYTHING WRONG. So, I'm sorry you can't find a specific source that says they won't apologize. That doesn't make my assertion untrue.
-
So have you done your additional research and are you ready to make an actual, final, educated condemnation of the school or is this going to be another one of your empty commitments that you then ignore and choose to instead maintain your indignant willful ignorance?
-
Wait!! I thought Tim has said he immediately changed his stance on Polanski. Sure doesn't sound like it. God he looks bad in that thread. And in that thread he says he has made the exact same point in numerous threads. So Tim admits he thinks it's ok for a 44 year old man to drug and rape a 13 year old.

Who the fock posts NINETY TWO pictures of a vehicle for sale?
-
You need to quit with the IF. If anything I'm underdescribing their disgusting behavior.
-
You need to do some more research in to this incident. You can start by reading the thread about it in the PSF. I.posted numerous links about this case there. BB found it fascinating IIRC. But no, they have not expressed any remorse. They have doubled down on their stance at every turn.
-
An apology would be nice. Some contrition or indication that they learned something from the incident. IOW, everything they HAVEN'T done.
-
A monetary judgment does not restore the reputation that was destroyed by Oberlin.
-
They were punished after YEARS of litigation and after two of the principal plaintiffs DIED. Those two saw no justice. GFY.
-
Not a good look? They destroyed a beloved 150 year old pillar of the community business.
-
That just had to pay a 40 million dollar judgment to a local,100+ year old family owned business that the college destroyed. Yeah, great people you got there Timmy!
-
You should say the same thing about the lawyers who selected him after he told them the following:

No jonathon taylor. Put on PUP. Loses at least 4 games.
