He's like the last guy in the circle when they do one of those exercises where they tell the first person a story and have them relay it to the next, and that person to the next, and the next around the circle, and the last person tells the story and it's totally different than the original story. That's Tim. But he doesn't need a circle of people to screw up the story. He hears something, translates it on to what he WANTS the story to be, and boom that's the story he posts on the Interwebs as if it's true. I've caught him too many times to trust him without a link so I can verify what he's posting.

I agree with this. If he didn't disqualify her and didn't allow new, relevant evidence in the case it would be appealed and delay things even more. He's just making sure his decision stands up to scrutiny.

1) This isn't a legal system issue. It's a congressional inquiry issue. 2) No. To the extent the legal system IS being used towards her, it's being used properly. Just because she chose to abuse the system doesn't mean that someone else investigating her is doing the same.

Peenie, Obviously I don't know the specifics of this case. Do you know her side of the story? Maybe they chose as a couple for her to not pursue a career to raise the kids. If she got 50% I assume they were married a long time so that is time she has lost re pursuing a career. Not saying she deserves 50% but she deserves something. Divorce pretty much always results in both sides being worse off than they were when they were together. The lesson is to find the right person, don't get married, or have a prenup if there is a significant disparity in wealth going in.
