Details released on bipartisan immigration bill that MAGAturds don't want because it vaporizes a Clownzo campaign issue

That's a fact! We've got a bunch of trolls around here though. They can't actually believe that. -

What Republican has said they object to the bill because it would give Biden a victory? The only ones I've seen quoted object to the bill because the bill is a steaming pile of dung. -

And for those who think the GOP doesn't want to do anything, here is a bill they put up that would actually help the situation: https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/118/hr2/summary If libs actually wanted to help, they'd work off of that. -

NOOOO. Have you heard what's in this bill? This bill won't do anything to help the situation. There is no reason to pass a bill just to say "we did something" if that bill doesn't help the situation. -
Uh, small business owners have been around pretty much since this country was founded. You do realize that most big companies started out as small businesses, don't you? And as I said there are a lot of people who enjoy contract work. IOW, you're making a lot of assumptions. And I'm not sure why you're doing so when this discussion should be focused on the gig workers. Unless you've got specific stats about that particular demographic your broad generalization in trying to make some type of vague lib point is really not having it's intended impact.

First of all, being a contract worker isn't a bad thing. A good number of those work in decent paying professions so not sure why you're lumping them all in together. That's what happened in CA when AB5 passed and focked over a LOT of people who enjoyed being independent contractors, including the former mayor of SF Willie Brown. As far as gig workers go, so what? I knew a guy who enjoyed being a pizza delivery guy. The only reason he quit was he had a kid and needed health insurance for the kid. But regardless, if someone chooses that line of work that's on them; either they chose it because of it's flexibility or due to a lack of skills. The former is a personal choice and the latter is fixable if the person is so inclined. Regardless, this bill isn't helping them, is it?
-
Really? There was a time when the alternative was an increasing percentage of the workforce learning a marketable, decent paying skill. And low wage jobs like being a fry cook at McDonalds or being a delivery driver were considered "transitory jobs" that you took while acquiring those marketable skills.

Tim confirming that his opinions are formed by his overlords. I'm capable of forming my own opinions based upon my own research. But thanks for that confirmation Timmy!!! -
I'd like to know what makes you, and your 20 something colleagues, think Trump is insane. He's a major A-hole and IMO isn't very bright, but that doesn't make him insane. I agreed with many of his policies and would love to see them implemented again. I think he handled Covid a million times better than Biden would have. Doesn't mean I have to like the man personally. So, what makes you think he's insane?

Californians shocked by electric bills after rate hike: 'Like you're getting punished'

There isn't anything a conservative can do about it. They're outnumbered. -

No you haven't. Here is an actual post of his from earlier today describing the POS border "security" bill who's details were just released by the Senate: There is literally nothing in that bill that actual conservatives want. His description is from fairy land and trying to discuss it with him is futile. But he will post every 3 posts in that thread and destroy and semblance of intelligent discussion, just like RustyPimp. The only difference is Rusty is destroying things on purpose while Tim is just an idiot. -

That's not all. California passed a bill last year to add an income based surcharge to electric bills. Even some Dems now realize that was a mistake and want to repeal it, but Newsom doesn't want that. So, Californians, I hope you're happy with your overlords. https://gvwire.com/2024/01/31/california-dems-oppose-income-based-electricity-rates-after-voting-for-them/ -
Why do you expect more from him?
-
Then, if you can afford it which I assume he can, you have a driver. I don't understand athletes or affluent people who don't have a plan for situations like this. When Carmelo Anthony was a Nugget he got a DUI in Denver and I'm like WTF. Dude makes 10 million a year and can't afford to have someone drive him when he's intoxicated?

He got jail time for his 2nd. You'd think he'd get MORE jail time this time.

Even that is misleading. The bill also says that if you're an illegal and you get 100 miles from the border or elude capture for 14 days in the U.S. you don't count towards the 5000 per day average. So that number in reality is much larger than 5000 per day, especially if the administration decides not to catch illegals. -
If you don't vote for Biden you ain't black!!!!

1) I haven't post any videos anywhere, at least not recently. 2) You, @squistion, and @The Real timschochet have diluted the meaning of the word racist to the point that it is meaningless. Good job!!! -
Replace Biden with HItlery and it's Tim 8 years ago. You never learn and are almost always wrong.

The problem you've got is that Kameltoe is next in line. Try to bypass her and you p*ss off the AA community. But she couldn't even move the needle in polling in her own state 4 years ago so good luck running her instead of Weekend at Bidens.
