The rights we have been granted come with responsibility. It used to be that we were "corrected" in our youth for not being responsible with those rights. Over the last 50 years we have seen a deterioration in respecting that responsibility. We shouldn't have to police such things. It's like respecting your elders. I was taught that but kids nowadays are not. I don't know what the answer is. I'm not a fan of "cancel culture" but I also don't want to work with someone who would post gleefully about someone, ANYONE, being assassinated. So those of you opposed to this, what do you propose we do so we don't have to police it?

I never heard the term honor killing in relation to murders in the U.S. until the last 15 years.

I don't know about celebrating but there have been a LOT of libs saying he deserves it, and I'm talking libs in government positions and in the media. As you probably know MSDNC fired one of them and sent a strongly worded memo to their entire organization about it.
