You're wrong about what people want. I would agree that there may be some compromise on "all", but it's certainly the majority and for most people it is ALL of the ones Biden allowed in. But, as I said, you've refused to acknowledge these realities for as long as I've been unfortunate enough to know you so this post isn't unexpected.

The problem with your stance, that you've refused to acknowledge, is that shutting down the border and deporting illegals is a winning issue. Most Americans believe in a secure border, deporting illegals, and a sane immigration policy. It's a vocal minority, of which you're a part of, that doesn't believe in those things. And that's fine. But you're accepting that violence is OK for a minority to impose on the majority in a country. And you accuse Trump of being the one who's authoritarian.

You suggested "direction of the crowd" and if the intent was warning shots they could absolutely be in the direction of the crowd but not directly AT the crowd. That's kind of the point of a warning shot - to WARN someone that they MIGHT get shot but not ACTUALLY shoot them. This seems obvious to me but you keep chasing that gotcha that is so elusive to you.....

It doesn't matter. The point is that if the Supreme Court rules correctly we would once again be in control of setting the rules. As it is now almost anyone born here becomes a citizen which causes a lot of problems, much like unrestricted illegal immigration. It would be nice to have a national conversation and set the rules.

Probably not unfortunately. I didn't live here from 01-06 but when I did live here the main mountain town I spent much time in is Steamboat. Would have loved to try your cuisine in person for sure though.
