What concerts do you most regret not attending?

When I was sick in 2017 with Diverticulitis, we had a boatload of concert tickets. We literally had to make a spreadsheet of all the shows we went to that year to not forget any. Off the top of my head, during the couple of months I was basically dead, we missed: - Sammy Hagar - Guns 'N Roses - Christine McVie/Lindsey Buckingham touring without Fleetwood Mac. I ddin't go but made the GF go with a friend of mine since Fleetwood Mac is her favorite band. - Joan Jett - Queen w/Adam Lambert - Blondie Of those, I've never seen Queen, Blondie, or G'N'R. Of those, probably have to go with G'N'R. Always really wanted to see them and still haven't. Really wanted to see Blondie too so that would be 2nd.
  5. One that just dropped regarding nationwide injunctions. It's in the birthright citizenship case but related to nationwide injunctions. Sounds like Trump got a win and the court has partially overturned some nationwide injunctions and said the following: More to come on this decision, and others will be coming out as well, so starting this thread to discuss these and their implications.
  6. Except Israel's track record is one where they only go after those who have gone after them. They don't have a history of killing journalists for bad press. You're just making stuff up.
  7. Like Jerry, I believe in Occam's Razor. And, as Jerry has pointed out to you more times than I can count, if Israel was so hell bent on destruction and being inhumane they could have just razed the whole place and called it a day. Instead, they do their best to avoid civilian casualties and have tried to get aid to the civilian population. As Jerry has told you, along with the U.S. Israel created their own aid organization to bypass Hamas and prevent Hamas from stealing the aid. Occam's razor says that, given all of Israel's efforts to avoid civilian casualties, it's unlikely they are randomly shooting women and children as you have alleged or that they are targeting innocent journalists. I'm open to being convinced otherwise but you're going to have to provide actual credible evidence to overcome Occam's Razor, and Billy from the chat room is not going to suffice.
  8. yeah because everyone here has heard of "dropsite news" and considers them credible!!!
  9. So Israel believes he was a terrorist. So they killed him for being a terrorist, not a journalist. One down. Only 199 more shots you got in that gun, son.
  10. Specifically, which journalist and WHAT PROFESSIONAL JOURNALISM ORGANIZATION WAS THAT JOURNALIST AFFILIATED WITH?
  11. Maybe he was. Regardless, if they REALLY were targeting journalists you'd be able to find a credible news site reporting such. You're reaching for Twitter and back room sites relying on Al-Jazeera saying Israel is targeting journalists. You haven't provided ANY CREDIBLE evidence that israel is targeting journalists. It's crazy how far the quality of your posting has deteriorated since before Covid. Maybe Covid affected your brain?
  12. So the answer is NO, you don't have a credible news site reporting this. Gotcha.
  13. Uh, let's start with your source, which is marginally more credible than Billy from the gaming forum chatroom. Then we can move on to your contention that 3 is evidence that they are targeting journalists. It is not evidence of such. Journalists know it's dangerous to report from war zones and many have been killed in the line of duty. If I were a journalist I would NOT choose to work in a war zone. In any case, do you have an actual article from a REAL news source suggesting Israel is targeting journalists? I mean, seriously, if Israel was targeting journalists one would think the OTHER news agencies would be reporting that because.....you know......journalists......A simple yes or no or a link to a real news article will suffice.
  14. Seriously dude? You claim that Israel has killed 200 journalists and your only evidence is a random tweet?
  15. How many journalists can you name that Israel has eliminated?

Are you proud to be an American?

Remember that ONE time Michelle Obama was proud of America? Good times ........
  17. As a general rule of thumb I agree with you. And it would be nice if country's would take their POS's back, but sometimes they don't. And in those cases I'm OK sending them to some other random country. It gets them out of our country and that's my #1 priority.

  19. He doesn't have a stay of deportation. He simply has an order that says he can't be deported to his home country. Fortunately there are hundreds of countries in the world and some of them are willing to accept him.
  20. This post is just stinky bait!
  21. Unless you've got some data to back that up you're just making stuff up. I have no doubt that some small number of women left the profession due to misogyny but we can quantify the difference in numbers of women going to college for stem versus man. You're just throwing factors out there without any data to support how much of a factor it actually is.
  22. While there might be a minor Factor related to misogyny the main factor that causes women not to be in engineering is just that there aren't that many women going for engineering. This is easy enough to confirm just by looking at the traditional numbers of women going to college for engineering versus men. And I'm sure Jerry is aware that stem has always had a shortage of women relative to men in college. This has been the case since I was an engineering major in college in the early 1980s and I suspect there were more women in those disciples then compared to earlier than the '80s so we've improved but there are still less women going into that field to begin with. If you start off with a smaller pool of talent you're going to have a smaller pool of that talent in that disciple.
  23. Don!!!! Good to see you. Unfortunately the Coont is still here.
  24. Hey @RLLD you can probably change the thread title about now.....
