Probably depends if you count major renovations or not. Lambeau comes to mind. Arrowhead was completed around '71.

    Abandoned Stadiums

It's weird to me that we're only getting 30 years or so out of some of the newer stadiums being built. I think the Truman Sports Complex hosts maybe the 4th oldest stadium in the league in Kauffman without looking? (Fenway, Wrigley and Dodgers being older?), and it feels like the only reason they really want to move out of a 55-year old stadium is so they can put it in a more metro area and create more opportunities for spending from stadium goers before and after games. I feel sort of the same with Arrowhead, I get they want fancy suites and high-end opportunities to generate more revenue, but there's just something nostalgic that you risk losing by moving away from something as beautiful as Arrowhead stadium. It feels like the days are numbered though, and there isn't much anyone like me is going to be able to do about it.

    NFL 2025 Offseason/ Draft

Chiefs and G Trey Smith agree to 4-year $94M deal I'm not sure how I feel about having the highest paid Center and Guard in the league, but I guess investing significantly in the interior line is great if it keeps your superstar QB happy

    MLB 2025

It'll be interesting to see who becomes buyers and sellers at the deadline. All but 3 teams in the AL are only 4.5 games back from the final wild card spot, and just about any of those teams could go on a run and put themselves in the conversation. I feel like that makes it tougher to decide whether you give up a prospect for a rental piece to make that sort of late season push, or if you start looking to next year and beyond and give up a piece that could help another team with a playoff push. The NL race feels a little tighter with about 6 teams fighting for 3 wild card spots, with the D'Backs on the outside looking in. The Royals don't really have any top OF prospects working their way to the majors, so moving a guy like Seth Lugo who some teams might find enticing could make sense if they could get a corner OF player with some pop with a couple years of control. Such a move could make sense for them both in the short-term and long-term outlook for the club, as the rotation is still fairly deep otherwise.

see... when I see something like this I recognize that I have no idea what most of these stats mean, but to me it feels like if they just stick with it, things are eventually going to turn around and you'll start seeing MLB producing numbers from him

Are you looking at it from simply a numbers perspective, or have you been tracking plate appearances, and how he's responding after ABs? I just asked AI if he is struggling or just unlucky, and this is the feedback. Just watching the games everyday he's not having bad plate appearances and is running into some tough luck on some of these outs. The atmosphere in the dugout and and ways guys are uplifting him seems to be encouraging as he's working through this. I get what you're saying but as I'm casually observing all the interactions I'm really not concerned with it. I think everybody feels like he's going to figure it out and when he does it'll be a pretty big step forward. At least that feels like what we're all waiting for

Just hit a 466 foot bomb with homers in back to back nights. Seems like he is laying off more pitchers pitches and being more patient at the plate. Might just be figuring it out.

I guess if we're doing this: Kauffman Stadium Old Busch Stadium New Busch Stadium Rockies @ Mile High Stadium in their inaugural year Rockies at Coors Field Twins at the Metrodome White Sox @ Comiskey (vs KC) Cubs @ Wrigley (vs KC) Angels back in the late 80's before the renovations Brewers before it was American Family or whatever it is as well as Omaha Royals at Rosenblatt (RIP ) Omaha Storm Chasers (AAA) Las Vegas Aviators (A's AAA) Northwest Arkansas Naturals (AA) Springfield Cardinals (AA) (vs KC affiliate) On my radar, I'd like to visit as many as I can, preferable when they play KC but to prioritize, probably something along the lines of: 1. Fenway Park 2. Camden Yards 3. Quad City River Bandits (Davenport, IA) 4. Columbia Fireflies (Columbia, SC)

    *** 2025 Draft and Season Discussion ***

Have to have had an ab or IP with a team, or expected to make the roster of a team. So if he's on your team currently that should count. Kind of like Kyle Wright for me who is in the minors but hasn't really made an appearance for the Royals.

Because I've seen us trot out lots of Hunter Renfroe, MJ Melendez, Cavan Biggio, meh meh meh types and I'd rather live and die with the potential Cags brings then suffer through two swings at bad pitches and then a watch the third strike go by you plate appearance. That isn't what we're getting out of Caglianone, rather it's a mix of growing pains and bad luck if you're paying attention.
