The Chiefs are solid in most positions. One of the best secondaries and linebacker groups in the league. O- line is stout as well and this rookie they are starting at LT looks like he can play too. Definitely some positions to strengthen but Mahomes isn't making it a skeleton roster otherwise.

If it's offside, call it the other times throughout the game when it happened then. Am I right?

 No one is crying. I'm just saying do a better job across the board. I don't even care about yesterday's game or that call, but that non PI call in the packers game was bs. The late roughing penalty was bs. I'm not saying it's not going one way or the other, nor am I saying either call determined the outcome of the game. The Chiefs have to do better. The refs need to as well. You painting this as an issue that it's kc fans is garbage. At least your resident homer here isn't whining about it. You all are.

Can we just do a fockin better job in general, NFL referees? I'm not making excuses, and to be honest I'm just a fan, so who cares. But let the games be determined by the play on the field, not by questionable judgment calls (or lack thereof). It seems to be happening more and more lately where the guys in stripes are having a determining influence on the outcome of games. And by no means am I saying it's lopsided to favor any one team over another. They just blow, a lot (of calls).

    NCAA Hoops '23-'24

The Missouri/ Kansas rivalry goes beyond sport. At the urinal in johnnys tavern is a picture of a group of the first jayhawkers from 1859, where they talk about rescuing a man who was helping escort slaves into kansas from a jail in my hometown. The Missouri ruffians burned Lawrence on two different occasions. As Missouri was the last slave state allowed into the union, and with kansas being the "free state" the hate between the two entities goes well beyond a sports rivalry. The Yankees and red Sox, Michigan and Ohio state, and unc and Duke don't have any sort of history like that. So while this rivalry might seem to only matter to people in this part of the country, the reason for the division is much deeper than many other historied rivalries. And these are our ancestors. I can trace back family ties not many generations ago (I think 6) of an ancestor who rode with the James gang and fought in these skirmishes. Posty.

    MLB 2024

Royals say they have $30M to spend, so we'll probably grab a craptastic utility player, corner OF with a 50% strikeout rate, two middle relievers and an innings eater SP who ends up with a 5+ ERA. Also, fock the draft lottery. And let's build a brand new shiny stadium for this crappy team

    NCAA proposes subdivisions

I mentioned my son was looking at KU and K-State as a couple options. He's really talking about who is going to be QB for the teams while he's there, what basketball program should be better. Not necessarily as a final determining factor, but just something to consider as he wants the best overall experience. I think posty's response was "that's a dumb reason to choose a college"

    NCAA proposes subdivisions

Hey @posty, I think you made a comment as my son was considering schools, that it was goofy (paraphrasing) to choose a school based on athletics. If this goes through, why wouldn't you as a college kid go to the cool school that pays professional athletes, rather than some small school with lesser athletes and lesser competition.
  20. you are seeing more promotion on espn for when they play, which is nice
