I don't know that anyone is arguing with you on the point, but for us fans of the team we're still optimistic that it's just taking him time to get adjusted and will end being as was advertised by the time his career is over. Personally, I'm always the eternal optimist. So I'm still hopeful we end up with the most recognizable athlete in both of the top two major sports leagues in the world right here in KC for the next decade. There is still a chance.

I get no one really cares about college basketball in august except people like me and TarHole (is he even alive?), but it's possible this KU team could be playing against Klay Thompson and Deandre Ayton in one of the two games they have left down in Puerto Rico. With a team that turned over about 80% of the roster and is still likely pre-season #1, you can't ask for better pre-season experience and it's fun to see them potentially compete against NBA all-star level talent.

Over the past week, Witt Jr. is 15/27 with 7 runs, 2 doubles, a triple, 3 HR, 13 RBI, 2 SB and a BB. And no defensive errors. If that's underwhelming, I'll take underwhelming all day long.
