There's a lot going against the team. Chris Jones isn't what he used to be, neither is Kelce. The offensive line has dealt with injuries all season and hasn't performed well, leaving Mahomes little time to settle in the pocket and has influenced playcalling. There really isn't much of a running game, nothing to make opponents focus on stopping the run and therefore they can focus on limiting Mahomes. The secondary hasn't played well, either. Then heading into next year, Mahomes likely won't be ready to start the season, and now it appears Minshew won't be either. They are way over the cap, so something will have to be done with Chris Jones, Kelce and other contracts. I do like how they actually might get a decent draft position which is something we haven't had for half a decade, so that's nice. But if there's anything to have faith in, it's how this front office has adjusted and kept the team competitive. It shouldn't be long before they are back to where they need to be.
