@Mike FF Today there are a couple ads with borders along all edges that really seem to be making activity on the site lag.

NFL Week 18 & Fantasy Irrelevance

The Minnesota Vikings found an effective but expensive way this week to increase their in-stadium presence during Sunday night's winner-take-all NFC North matchup with the Detroit Lions. The team purchased roughly 1,900 tickets near the Ford Field visitor's bench on the secondary market, ESPN confirmed Saturday, at a cost of roughly $1,000 per ticket -- or just under $2 million in total. The Vikings then offered them to team-based stakeholders at a cost that ranged from $200-$300 per ticket, ESPN confirmed. In a statement, the Vikings said: "Given the uniqueness of this game, we wanted to offer our stakeholders -- staff, family, season ticket members and team partners -- an opportunity to attend."

Did the Vikings really spend a bunch of money on the secondary market to source tickets for their fans?

This winter storm is going to hit hard

<Some idiots wanted to host league volleyball tournament this weekend where we had to drive an hour. Thought for sure they would cancel. Nope, took a good couple hours to get home from a normal hour drive. Interstate traffic was at a standstill (still is, we've been home for a bit) as luckily I knew the right back roads and cuts through small towns to get back home. Some of the roads were slick as fock. Money over people's safety. Sure the forecast isn't always right but this should not have happened. I think some of our coaches are still stuck and I don't feel terrible for them. Apparently there was a 200 car pile up in kc south of where I am, and just heard a report that water search and rescue are looking for a car that went off a bridge and possibly into the Missouri River. And most don't realize the size and speed of that river but it's second only to the Mississippi in this country. I can't imagine they'll get to those folks in time to save them if they really went off the bridge

I think the Bengals are a bad matchup for anyone. Thankfully they'll likely be watching from home.

NFL Week 18 & Fantasy Irrelevance

I guess they really want to play the Texans, rather than the Ravens. I guess that makes sense but I still think a semi-bye is under appreciated here.

I get that. A guy like Josh jacobs? I think giving him a week off to come back in the wild card with fresh legs is definitely reason to keep him out tomorrow.

NFL Week 18 & Fantasy Irrelevance

A bye at this point in the season seems so much more beneficial than playing to go to a place like Houston, rather than Baltimore. If you're in the playoffs you shpuld have a chance to beat either team, and going in closer to 100% healthy gives you a much better shot than going in 90-95% healthy.
