    NCAA Hoops '24-'25

I really can't tell if Iowa State is really one of the top 5 teams in the country, or just a really, really good team and things have gone their way more often than not. Will be interesting to see how the Milan injury effects them. This is a weird ass Kansas team. Usually 5-year players progress and get better, but KJ Adams and DeJuan Harris seem to be the same players they are when they helped KU win the national championship as freshmen. We need better players.

Based on the poll there's really only 1 game most people feel has a chance to be something other than the low seed moving on.

Or female. And you can also be married or identify as an animal or whatever. Our standards are low. Anyway we have a weird fantasy baseball league where you choose an mlb team and then can only draft players who have played for, or are currently or anticipating playing with that big league club in the upcoming 2025 season. So guys that have only played for your team (came up through the farm system) are automatically yours and you draft them in the last rounds. And then guys who have played for your team and other teams are the guys you are competing for in the early rounds of the draft. Then we have two supplemental picks of leftover players. We have 12 very active owners in the just for fun league and are open to adding a couple more guys. Please express your interest in the thread linked below and then we can begin our extremely thorough vetting process. TIA Apply within And yes between the time I started typing out this post and hit submit edjr has already quit.

Dress warm at NFL playoff games

It's not going to be near that cold in KC. I think high is 26, but with a 3:30 pm gametime it shouldn't be near as cold as that record game against Miami.

    NFL Divisional Round Games

He hasn't played a game since Christmas Day. Most of the starters haven't. Rusty, maybe. But there isn't a healthier team heading into this weekend.

    NFL Divisional Round Games

Not trying to flood but this is the time to talk about the last 4 games. And the bye should really benefit the Chiefs here. https://atozsports.com/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs-news/all-chiefs-players-practice-on-first-injury-report-vs-texans/ Observations: Chris Jones logging a full practice is an excellent sign that he'll be playing in this game. Jones injured his calf against the Texans back in Week 16 and sat out the Chiefs' Christmas Day game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as Week 18 against Denver with all the other starters. Jaylen Watson also appears to be making his return from an ankle injury that he suffered back in Week 7. He has practiced for about two weeks now since K.C. opened his 21-day practice window. Coach Andy Reid did mention while speaking to the media on Tuesday that Watson may be on a bit of a snap count, but having him back in any capacity will be a boost for Chiefs' secondary. It looks like the Chiefs are still taking things slowly with Mecole Hardman, but even a limited practice is a step in the right direction. If he's able to practice in full in either of the next two days, he could have a shot to play this week, but he'll have to be activated off of injured reserve. Al-Shaair's status will be closely monitored as he is one of the leaders of Houston's defense. The Chiefs avoided him in Week 16 as Al-Shaair was serving a three-game suspension. It has already been reported that starting right guard Shaq Mason will not play in this game as he continues to recover from a knee injury. His backup, Juice Scruggs, also missed practice on Tuesday, so the Texans appear to be quite thin at that position heading into Saturday. Veteran Robert Woods also did not practice on Tuesday. With how thin the Texans are at receiver, being without Woods would not be ideal. Denico Autry and tight end Dalton Schultz are key players who were limited. They are both likely on track to play, but if they have a setback it would be a big blow for Houston.

I can think of a couple teams I would vote against adding as one of the league's stakeholders

    NFL Divisional Round Games

I'm starting to get tired of how much media attention this team gets https://x.com/PatrickMahomes/status/1879167594185588979 Also weird to think the Chiefs are a win over the Texans away from playing in their 7th consecutive conference championship game. I think the record is eight for the Pats. I can see why other fans get tired of it.

Saturday in KC looks cold but that's about it. It'll be 45 degrees the day prior but on Saturday the high is 27 with an overnight low of 6. That's comfortable playoff football weather.

    What wildlife do you encounter?

I was contemplating this thread on a drive, and thinking through things I occasionally see. Many of you seem to be at least neighboring some more rural communities, as I am. Then I though I often hear coyotes but never really see any. Then as I'm on my drive, where I was headed to a very small town about 15 minutes away from where I live to get takeout from a local diner, I actually see a fockin coyote making its way through the snow covered field. I also saw a group of about 8 or 9 deer also in a field off in the distance on the same drive. And that was all just yesterday.
