I think I kind of like the concept of neutral sites for teams with better record who didn't win their division in the wild card round. You could have neutral sites apply (per chance their team didn't make the playoffs) and even look at some non-nfl stadiums with capacity. Maybe pick a location central to both teams and allot teams equal shares of tickets available to purchase and then remaining go to local market/ open market.

we could have went to the game. I paid $480 for 4 seats and parking pass (section 303 row 25 about halfway up around the visitor's 30). I sold the seats on stubhub for $784.80 and got $45 for the parking pass. If you go to espn app and nfl scores then divisional round they have Texans/ chiefs along with the Lions game on Saturday and the bills/ Ravens on Sunday. Makes sense to give the 1 seeds the extra day of rest heading into the championship games.
